gigavps, people who upgraded, like me, are being affected. Before upgrading I was receiving ~0.02BTC, after that I received even less than 0.001BTC this is a shame. I can't understand why you let us to take a path if you know that we are going to lose more and more. I hope you have an explanation for this.

Hi John,

I am doing everything within my power to get more equipment up and running. I have hosting contracts ready to go with the new power requirements and more space being built out specifically for us.

Sit tight and get ready for takeoff.

Best,
James

P.S. If any Gigaminers / Teraminers have any questions or concerns, please email me at james@gigamining.com and I will make sure your questions are answered in a timely manner and to your satisfaction.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Is the "free" upgrade to Teramining automatical? Or do I have to do anything? If so, I don't find anything in the settings? Huh

The price has not changed because the opportunity costs have not changed.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opportunity_cost

It's great that there is lively debate about the price, but it is not changing for the paid upgrade.

There is also a free upgrade offered for those who do not like their other options.

If you want to stick with Gigamining, you are more than welcome to do so.

Are you saying that there is a way out of this "deal" of yours?

While reading what I wrote, use the most friendliest and relaxing voice in your head.

You have to pick your upgrade path, it is not automagical!

Log into your account at https://virtualprocessingsolutions.com and pick the upgrade path you want.

Have you received my PM and claim? I filed one as soon as I found out that the process is closing. It should have been announced by email or in another thread, rather than in the middle of a 120+ page one.

Teraminers:

Bad week for mining last week. Sad

Revenues were 40% of expected due to multiple long rounds exceeding the 95% confidence interval. I've seen weeks with no revenue and weeks with 150%+ of expected so this is not completely out of the norm. Mining will always tend to 100% even with the difficulty rising although the diff rising creates more variance.

If any Teraminers would like access to the semi-private pool we use to track our results, please email me at [james at gigamining dot com] and I'll set you up with a pool account.

Best,
James

Thanks for the update!

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

are they xlinked or connected through a usb hub? Also, controlled by Nexus7 or PC?

EDIT: Oh and of course, how many watts are you burning through? did the lights dim and the walls creak when you powered it up? Cheesy

We are running on USB while some final issues are worked out with xlink. Xlink will be used though.

EDIT: Oh and of course, how many watts are you burning through? did the lights dim and the walls creak when you powered it up? Cheesy

We'll have the tools tomorrow to test power usage. The walls are still intact though. Wink

Now that I am less delirious from lack of sleep, we are actually at 850Gh/s. I will keep posting as more equipment arrives.

Teramining will be reopened when I can cover current the full hashrate of current Teraminers. This is just the beginning as we have 20 more 500Gh/s units to receive.

As promised, another 420Gh/s has landed bringing total mining capacity to over 1.25Th/s.

Teramining will soon be living up to it's name.  Cheesy
