I will be pulling the trigger. I set glbse.com to release the bonds to me at 6am (i'm an early riser) so that I would have time to get pre IPO shares to the proper owners.

500 remain for the IPO tomorrow. Nefario has confirmed that the highest bid will be the first to be filled.

Looks like all bid orders a 1 BTC will not be filled come tomorrow morning because of higher bids. Your best bet is to make sure you have tightened up your bids for the last 500 before 9am tomorrow.

Usually I'm just interested in the technical side of bitcoin, so sorry if my question is a bit stupid  

Basically this is an opportunity to invest 1 btc for 1 MHash/s mining in your sexy setup. With current difficulty etc that would pay off in roughly one year. Perhaps not a bad deal. There sure are some risks involved.

The alternative is to invest in mining hardware yourself. The price per MHash is lower, even when baying FPGA miner. Granted that you dont have to run the thing, supply power etc. But is this deal 1 btc per MHash really something people would throw themself at? What am I missing?

Just think a deal for 5 MH/s for the same 1 BTC would be 500% better?  Would you be interested in that deal?

If 1 MH/s for 1 BTC is good then 5 MH/s for 1 BTC must be insanely good.

Agh, I messed up the numbers. Yes, 5 MH/s for a btc. But still, return of investment is roughly a year.
A BFL Single has more than 5 times that hash power per cash. Then again, you dont have to care about the hardware etc.

Obviously the deal is good, as it sold out. Congrats and good luck!  

Maybe I'll join in the next round, if I've figured out what makes the deal so good by then!

I think we'll get some coupon payments out and the equipment here before we talk about another round.
