Are you pre-selling any, and if so, what volume is required?

He was, but now they're gone!  7000 shares sold already Smiley

Dang, seems I need to be faster on the trigger. Oh well, still 3k for public sale.

This is correct. ineededausername has invested into gigamining along with a couple other large investors.

The remaining 3k of bonds will be released on this Wednesday, May 10th at 10am EST. Get you bids in on GLBSE as this will be the last offering of gigamining.

Hi gigavps, what is the cutoff time of holding shares for dividend calculation? Just bought some shares few hours ago, should I expect to receive dividend of this week for those new shares?

I believe the dividends are paid to the current holders.  So there's no cutoff.

This is correct. When I payout coupon payments, they go to the current holders at the time the coupon payment is sent out.

To all interested parties,

Effective immediately, I will be pre-selling another 2,000 bonds at 1.5 BTC each. To be a part of the pre-sale, you must purchase a minimum of 100 bonds. This means that 1,000 will be put up for sale on Thursday.

I will respond to PMs as quickly as possible, but will be out of pocket during normal business hours today (EST). Your bonds will be reserved once I confirm your BTC as hit the address supplied.

Best regards,
gigavps

I doubt he needs to give volume discounts; demand seems to be far outstripping supply.

Looks like trading volume is through the roof on gigamining this week.

There are still some pre-sale bonds left that you can pick up at 1.5 BTC each.

For all of the early birds out there, the 1000 remaining shares are now available for sale!

Also, the next coupon payment will stay at the lower difficulty for the rest of the week.   Cheesy

Hey Giga, what do you see happening once the block reward halving takes effect ?
...in terms of bond value. Obviously 100% PPS is what it is, but what kind of effect are you predicting ?
Would the block reward halving not make your 'buy-back' a rather expensive situation if bond values stay constant ? (with current pricing @ approx 1.5 BTC)

Why would someone pay the same price for half the reward?

Hi bitlane,

I would rather not speculate on what the current or future price of the bond should be as this is why we have a market for efficient price discovery. There are multiple situations that could play out and it is up to each individual investor to research and understand.

To all gigaminers,

Dividend payments are out. 467 BTC were paid to 20,000 bonds!

For all bond payments going forward, I am rounding up to the nearest whole BTC to make my life just a little simpler.

Enjoy.
