For the time being: Bet at bitjack21 at your own risk. The site currently owes me BTC133 in withdrawls, and the admin has failed to communicate about the status of the payout, going on 48 hours +, their payout statement says that withdrawls will be handled within 24 hours.  DON'T expect to get paid from that site... Like all my posts on this matter, this will be edited if it gets resolved.

Do not be goaded into betting with Matthew the editor of the Bitcoin Magazine or any other forum bully.
Please ignore bullies like Matthew that demand you either enter into an insecure bet with themselves to support your argument or STFU. Most of us live in free countries where we do not have to pay for the privilege to have an opinion.
It is needless for an unaccountable individual to host bets, when we already have reputable sites setup to do so.

- He is very eager to bet a LOT of money without escrow
- He can "trust" you basically over nothing
- He is suddenly very unwilling and unresponsive when you makes step towards getting an actual escrow.
- The form of the bet is very un-professionnal as far as big bets goes

Even if Matthew does payout, it sets a horrible trend for people trusting unaccountable unknown people with large sums of money (ie pirate).

It's worth mentioning though that you turned a small (10 BTC?) deposit into 300 BTC or so by playing on his site while doubling down and splitting were both free, probably due to a bug in his site.

I don't know if he has any T&C mentioning what he does in the event of a bug in the server software causing users to win more than is expected, but either way deleting your account and locking his thread doesn't seem like an appropriate response to me.
