Edit 1: Here is a clearer pic of the last chart in this OP for Dublin, Ireland as being the most likely correct one, the other two charts showing alternatives of different possible locations.

Edit 2: Please see the last chart in this OP for Dublin, Ireland as being the most likely correct one, the other two charts showing alternatives of different possible locations.

https://i.imgur.com/Zku7S.gif

It's a general chart as I chose England for the place of birth because of the chancellor's quote put in the first tx*, mostly only affects the moon's position in this if elsewhere, bitcoin is a Capricorn which is appropriate & just look at the bunch of stuff going down in Aquarius, oh & pivotal just about everything to Saturn in Virgo - this Jack of Spades's chart is a serious contender.

[*In the Bitcoin network's transaction database, the original entry has a note by Satoshi Nakamoto that reads as:

"The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks"]

https://i.imgur.com/TUHNN.gif

Edit 3: & if it was in Tokyo, Japan - correct local time for the first block made.

https://i.imgur.com/9CkSA.gif

Edit 4: Chart with the exact UTC & also the local time of the first block made if the location was Dublin, Ireland which seems the most probable correct chart atm, I've now posted a clearer pic of this at the beginning of this OP.

& 6 days later, the initial release of the OS bitcoin client

https://i.imgur.com/EpSgJ.gif

most all in Air & Earth (crypto/Internets + store of value/currency), in that time Venus moved in to a water sign to join Uranus (Troll away ;-))

edit: Jupiter joining the other guys in Aquarius, where it's happier

edit 2: rarely do we see charts so neat, it's almost as if it could have been chosen to be just so...

edit 3: those in Air being predominately in a Fixed sign & those in Earth being predominately in a Cardinal sign, Saturn & then Uranus being in the Mutables, it really is very beautiful - see my previous astrological poll thread for more on these

edit 4: added the chart for Tokyo release of the client (loses the moon opposition to Pluto), someone asked re Dublin - that would be very similar to London's - just the moon position a fraction on

Astrologically, Bitcoin does seem to be as significant as a second coming of a resurrected christ.  I really, really appreciate this thread.

There is no way Bitcoin (as it is NOW -- NOT just the concept of crypto-currency in some other form) at this point can fail without the simultaneous complete destruction of intelligent life.  I make this statement in full seriousness.  This is to say that Bitcoin is as close to 100% certain as anything can be to become the global reserve currency after this year or sometime Q1 next year.  I am willing to bet on this.

Also, the fool is a great tarot card.  My guess is that anything arepo gained in life was by pure luck.

many thanks for the feedback  Smiley

the main aspects in the birth chart are the following, moon uncertain unless Satoshi releases the place of birth - though close to where it's shown on the chart (though perhaps still in Pisces is possible? needs checking, if so would make all major players concentrated in to just 4 signs)

Sun conjunction Mars
Sun trine Saturn

Mercury conjunction Jupiter

Venus sextile Mars
Venus conjunction Neptune
Venus sextile Pluto

Mars conjunction Pluto

Jupiter trine Saturn

Saturn opposition Uranus
Saturn square Pluto

& for the public release of the bitcoin client, different moon aspects - but again uncertain though close to where it's shown on the chart

Venus no longer in conjunction with Neptune

Sun now sextile Uranus

other major aspects unchanged

for the main birth chart, more complete version:

Sun conjunction Mars in capricorn
Sun in capricorn trine Saturn in virgo

Mercury in aquarius conjunction Jupiter in capricorn (interesting to check if Jupiter may have been able to move in to aquarius in that 24 hr period worldwide)

Venus in aquarius sextile Mars in capricorn (Venus also needs checking)
Venus conjunction Neptune in aquarius
Venus in aquarius sextile Pluto in capricorn

Mars conjunction Pluto in capricorn

Jupiter in capricorn trine Saturn in virgo

Saturn in virgo opposition Uranus in pisces
Saturn in virgo square Pluto in capricorn

Your obvious closed mind and your shameless pride in it is the most foolish thing I have seen on this entire board.

aren't we all a little bit of The Fool? Do we ever make any gains truly without any luck? And don't you see the hypocrisy in making such a strong claim while in the same breath denouncing self-assuredness itself? Don't think you know anything so well as this, and maybe I'd heed your 'wisdom'.

Also, the fool is a great tarot card.  My guess is that anything arepo gained in life was by pure luck.

the Fool is a great card, indeed.

astrologers would certainly say so, we have the general influences from the birth chart & then they would compare those with the present & future astrological placements called transits & make inferences from those - atm I'm mostly interested in examining the birth chart, but if you go to the site shown on the charts you can easily pull up the free charts for the transits & I'm sure they would be interesting to check out, like when $1 was reached & the $32 odd peek, the back to $2s etc, the various scandels & haxs, TSR story, any major transits coming up etc...

I assume that, since the genesis block was pregenerated, it doesn't have an "origin IP" as most blocks do today?

If there is something that will make Bitcoin succeed, it is growth of utility - greater quantity and variety of goods and services offered for BTC. If there is something that will make Bitcoin fail, it is the prevalence of users convinced that BTC is a magic box that will turn them into millionaires, and of the con-artists who have followed them here to devour them.

No block records the origin IP address.  Some tools show the first IP address from which they first saw a block but that is just the first IP address that the node is aware of that relayed the block.   The IP address of a block's origin can never be definitively confirmed.
