Warning, slight rant incoming.

This is the very root of the problem.  When miners quit mining, blocks can't be found.  When blocks aren't found, transactions don't get confirmed AND difficulty doesn't get properly adjusted.  How many mined feathercoin at a loss when they the same problem?

You mine for profitability, but until the price goes up, it won't be profitable.  That said, the price isn't likely to go up until some blocks are found and the chain gets moving again.

This is why altcoins die. If you want to help the project, you don't have to donate.  Mine blocks.  Pre-release is coming tomorrow.  New difficulty algorithm is in the prerelease.  It will still need someone to mine to get it over the block target for the chain fork.

I will throw extra 300 Mhash after the coin right now.

Good! I'm sure things will get added to enable us to purchase goods. This being said, it is a community coin so I guess if the majority of people don't want it, it won't get added in the first instance.

I personally like coins I can use to buy things with, but being in the U.K there aren't many places that accept any coins yet

Last time I spoke to dev they have some ideas about were the coin could be used, but no matter what it will only be accepted as payment when the coin has some momentum and wide spread. And if you look at the total coin supply, the figures might be the coin we have been waiting for.
Crypto world is more wide spread than it was when LTC and BTC started up, so only few people are the bagholders and one of the reasons why LTC will never be accepted as real payment option. Now with LTCD it is more spread out = healthy and adaptable for physical stores, but again, the coin is only 2 weeks old.

Was able to sell out on the triple top before the dump...hope you guys took my advise a few pages back! I picked up my re-buy at 1.9k where I said it was heading. I'll hold in hope for the next push. We could see a steady rise over the week to try for another push at 3k or we could continue to see a slow decline maybe to 1.5k-1.2k according to charts. If your looking at another potential coin to invest whilst waiting I suggest looking into Apexcoin, great Dev and expecting some big news to come very soon. Huge buy support in bittrex and looks primed ready for a pump. Take my advise as you will.

bittrex has a limit.  A good coin will not be effected by a bot.  You want to buy 10k coins, buy it from whoever is offering it. Ignore the bot.
