There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

No, their statistics are incorrect.  The height on their statistics doesn't match the dashboard (or the actual height.)  It's an MPOS thing.

Anyone trying to withdraw from hashlink isn't going to have any luck until they are on the correct chain.

It can not be since the last block found was 16970 and when it changed to 17000 the difficulty went a lot lower so it should have found some of the lower difficulty blocks even if they went orphan

So then I guess there is no working pool? HashLink is on a fork and ltcd.best-pool.com has not found any new blocks for almost 2 hours now. Which pool is on the correct fork and is finding blocks?

Hashlink is up to date it says right on the dash the wallet is updated, this is bogus. There is no reason that best pool would be the longest chain they are a small percentage of the nethash. This fork is fucked.

There's clearly someone else mining at the same chain as best-pool. Probably some big multipool. Look at difficulties at hashlink and best-pool. Hashlink is mining on a shorter chain with lower difficulty - they are mining on this fork all alone.

Block explorer on wrong fork.. It's their fault for not updating.. They'll fix this.
