We've made some "small solution" to our miners, thanks to TrollByFire!
He send us coins equal to 6 blocks.
Those coins will be distributed as follows:
4 blocks will be paid based on % of shares of total invalid blocks mined by past few hours.
other 2+50% of our valid pool fee will also be distributed on the same scheme as a bonus.

We realise that it's not much but in this scenario is the best we can do.

Thanks again to TrollByFire!

Peeps, we can see that they do the best they can, cut them some slack and support the community. What's done is done, let's look forward with the new code Smiley

nope i am out but that doesnt mean im not paying attention to see what happened to the coins i mined. pretty sure if you lost 130,000 it would leave a bad taste in your mouth as well.

Well if you lost 130k coins, I'm sorry, I really am, but you were throwing a lot of accusations on the dev without any proof. All I know is that he tried hard to make sure everything went fine, and was very frustrated what was happening here.

Where's the dev been in the middle of all this, anyway?  Reminds me of WhiteCoin's fiasco,  dev MIA during minor meltdown which helped turn it into a major one. Communication matters most when the coin's trust and reputation are in a vulnerable state.

He was here, his posts were buried by FUD, go back a few pages. He was also active on IRC.

Asemov I understand this is not your fault, but I lost 300k+ coins because of this. But anyway I have helped to community I'm happy for that. But I'm not happy for that 300k, Ended with zero balance on the pool. I'm not going to investigate this, Good luck

No idea... But we need to DDOS it LOL.

No... But its sucks that someone is secretly raping the coin and then they will dump it later :/

I've been right here.   Sacrificing the last few hours of sleep I could have gotten before yet another day at my day job, helping people with any and all issues that I've had any control over.  I'm almost always on the IRC.  I can't watch the forum, write the code, do tech support for the entire community, help cover PR, and deal with the FUD too.  The rest of the team will be doing what they can too.

Thanks for your support, whether you choose to give it or not.

And a special thanks to all of you who have been helping give support and cover FUD duty as well.  Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for showing up.  Taking care of a newborn is a 24 hour job, that's just how it goes.  But after all that, it's your baby and you get to see it grow up and thrive as a reward.  And i assume make a buck for your efforts as this isn't supposed to be a charity.

People panicked over the chain while it was reorganising the main chain after the digishield was immplimented.  all good now and the coin works brilliant. kudos to trollbyfire.

FUD happened.  Also a blockchain fork happened, and a lot of people were mining on an invalid chain.  While I'm not concerned about the price, it bothers me that people that helped get us over that bump at 16300 ended up not getting their fair share of reward.  I have no idea how to solve this problem as it could happen to absolutely any coin, theoretically including Bitcoin itself.  You can be absolutely certain that I will be giving it a good amount of thought and will discuss any possible courses of action with the rest of the team and the community at large.

Also, no-one associated with the LTCD dev team has said anything about a relaunch.  Anything you heard was FUD, please don't spread it.  There is no planned relaunch, and new checkpoints will be added to ensure that this chain sticks.

Dear Community,

Offcourse there is no relaunch. The devs see Litecoindark as there child and we will do everything to make this big. So guys just relax and hold, the prices will come back up, don't worry!

Regards,

What is the plan from now?
How will LTCD evolve so we can use it other places?

I really like the coin but prices cant go up if there is no reason for it :/
(Unless there is a huge pump and dump that will kill the coin)
