Yes. Posting as flapman1 and minairia3 (i may have mispelled the second name, but view my earlier post that includes a quote where flapman1 answered my response to minairia3. Somebody's getting their multiple personalities criss-crossed and tangled. What is he posting from 2 accounts.....that damn scammer. Unfortunately we have to go through a lot of this before the coin get so strong that it doesn't bite anymore...
What the devil is this guy Iknowbetter talking about. Cant find out if it is yet another scam, because it works for me. Find it very strange that somebody is posting hard stuff like that with a new account and no activity....

I really don't know what Iknowbetter was referring to. I installed the wallet update, started it up, it wouldn't sync until a new block was found - but then it was up to date and has sync'd with all of the blocks that have come since. I currently have 29 active connections. What the devil is this guy Iknowbetter talking about. Cant find out if it is yet another scam, because it works for me. Find it very strange that somebody is posting hard stuff like that with a new account and no activity....

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Nope, I am a different guy. I saw and responed to a post. Is it a rule that only the person addressed can respond to something?

And finally I have real internet... I do not post much because I generally do not have much to say; I guess someone who posts "Moon!" 1000 times and becomes a full member is more reliable? The Devs say that since the LiteCoin trademark is expired anyone can freely use it. I spoke with some lawyer friends and they say it is not that simple. They say this could be a legal strategy to scare LTCD away or to extract value. Any lawsuit has to be fought even if the one attacked is in the right. This costs money. This is why the US legal system sucks. There are procedures that have to be followed to take over a trademark: Did the devs follow these procedures? They are not that difficult. Why is any question attacked as FUD? Here's the Twitter posting. Some fellows are thinking I made it all up so here you go in full color. The poor girl needs to see a dentist. I am sure it just some guy's avatar anyway:

My client stops at block 16273 I have redownloaded the complete blockchain and deleted all files from the tempdir/ltcd :? That's because so far there are only 16,273 blocks. Once a block is found it will look normal, but until then the wallet thinks it is behind because of the gap in time between the last block found and now. Put simply, you're good. Just wait for a block

If that were the case all the other similar name coins would have been removed from exchanges a long time ago.

I admit I didn't read 110 pages of this thread looking for a tldr version No, I do not think the dev is a scammer. I'm thinking he (or they) might have rushed forward and didn't cover all the legal bases. Maybe they thought it would a little project that would just fizzle out so why bother? If they did so and if the Twitter girl is correct (she does seems very exitable ... ) this is easy to fix with a few phone calls and a profit share agreement or something. The devs should post here what they are doing to reach out to LiteCoin and solve the (potential) issue. Even if the girl is crazy, a FUDer or whatever this is an issue the devs should pro-actively handle because the LiteCoin people do have a potential case if they want it and this puts a shadow over Litecoindark going forward. Big investors, big merchants, etc. will see this forum and will also ask the same questions.

Well, I can understand where she is coming from, wanting to jump on early to make lots a of money off of LTCD. I mean how else is she suppose to pay for all that dental work? Look, if you read this Ms. Gappy, send me your address and I'll send you some coins. I feel really bad for you.
