I am using a fork of minerd on a gridseed. How would I add the submit no stale command?

Been throwing 280K since the launch. Switched to Best-Pool on day 2 and getting 99% efficiency.

I did try cranking the gridseed up more but started getting way too many hw errors and rejects.

Not sure if best-pool is on the correct blockchain.  Hashlink seems like its on the correct one.

It's the opposite. Best-pool is on the correct blockchain an hashlink is forked out. Best-pool chain is longer. Also, Bittrex is on the same chain as best-pool (I just confirmed it by moving some coins from my wallet which is also in sync with best-pool).

^^^ +1  -- The longer chain will win.  That's by design.

Bestpool's expected difficulty is apparently 3,000 in 119 blocks.. That's higher than before? Will this work now the mulipools are onboard?

so dose it matter that no unconfirmed is not showing on best-pool and blocks are found by unknown While on hashlink it shows the name of the finder and actual shares. Best pool show no shares or names for finding blocks

You should just ignore it as it's showing random numbers. Best-pool's frontend doesn't know DifficultyShield and it's showing numbers which would be correct if the DifficultyShield wasn't in place. In fact, difficulty is rising slightly every blocks so just as it should be.

Seems they still have the difficulty estimation set for the previous diff algorithm. The difficulty now changes for every block. No worries  Smiley

That's what it's designed to do.  The dashboard doesn't know about the algorithm, so it isn't correct.

Sweet as man thanks Wink

I see that there was a mini panic on Bittrex when there was uncertainty over the fork lol. Back up to 2.1k now.

TrollByFire or Robbert: You should update the OP so that everyone knows that the fork was successful and people can have a little boost in faith for the coin.

It's not 100% successful. Hashlink is wasting its hashes on an incorrect chain Sad. Someone should notify them.

The point is that the coin is safe. The blockchain is not screwing up.. It's Hashlink's fault for not being up to date.

Then my wallet if forked since I'm on the same chain as HashLink. I'll delete my block chain and try to re sync.

Already working on it. Thanks.

Multipools hit as soon as it was profitable to mine again.  As predicted.

They did.  And they are up to date, but the chain forked, and they aren't on the correct fork.  This isn't their fault, it's part of the way bitcoin is designed.  Eventually their node will sync with the rest of the network, but they can speed up the process by fixing it by hand.

Probably each of both pools found hundred of blocks at once when difficulty dropped to ~0.00001 and each of them created their own blockchain fork then. It's how forks are started.

So I deleted my block chain and now I'm synced up with ltcd.best-pool.com so I'm on the correct chain again.

ltcd.best-pool.com still has not found a block in over 1 hour and 20 minutes.
