1.) Won't clearly explain the LiteCoin trademark issue.  Their explanation amounts to "Well, they're not using it anymore, guess it is ours now so bugger off".  Even if a trademark is expired and the Twitter girl is a Fudette there's a cheap and easy procedure to take it over free and clear.  They won't do that.  Finders keepers is their way of doing things it seems.

Real businessman you are to not care about trademarks.  In the Western countries those have value.  In China, etc. you can copy as you like and it is fine.  That doesn't work so well in the West.

Also, when you turn out a white paper, do a spell and grammar check first or hire someone to do it for you.  Reads like something a low achievement grade schooler wrote on the toilet.

2.) They've managed to piss off a bunch of rich Romanian gypsy geeks by insulting the aforesaid Fudette.  That lot has threatened to mass dump the coin in revenge and couldn't care about their losses if they do. A simple apology and maybe a bit of compensation might work according to one fellow. They won't do that. The said they'd dump 400,000 coins and then did so it doesn't seem this is something that ought be pushed under the rug.

Really?  So in order to maintain "reputable standing" we should give in to extortion or apologize to the ones responsible?  No.


Again, showing 0 business savvy at all. Crypto is the wild west; any sensible person would have reached out to them.  It is amazing how a few words can turn someone about. Money is even better.  Grow up mate; it isn't uni it is the real world.

3.) They've managed to piss off any other non-gypsy Euros on here by threatening to ban some Germans who were having a perfectly innocent conversation.  Someone might have run their posts through Google translate before going nuclear.  Idoits.

Give one instance where I or any other dev has threatened to ban anyone.  I'm not even certain that we could if we wanted to.

What a bloody moron.  This is people's money your wanking about with it is not a hobby anymore.  And dev worth his salt knows who IconicExpert is.  He's not a nice fellow but he's a force in this industry like or not.  Your aim is to beat LiteCoin.  Do you have any idea of the kind of money and power your going against? I choose not to speculate on the future market value or even spend too much time analyzing its current state.  While everyone talks about how far it has "crashed" they fail to remember that at this coin's launch (and it is still in its infancy) it was being bought and sold (in large amounts) between 50 and 70 satoshis.

It's not down.  It's early.  I've said before and will continue to stand firm on this point:

If you want to buy, to invest -- go ahead.  There risks associated with any investment, not just in LTCD, but in absolutely anything.
If you have doubts -- don't.  Again, there are risks involved and no-one will fault you for being cautious.

I think that everyone is getting far ahead of themselves.  As long as there are two nodes on the planet and two people give any value to LTCD, it isn't dead.  It doesn't matter how much of it gets "dumped" or how much of it any one person controls.  Let the big holders sell if they want to make good on their threats.  It gives LTCD the opportunity to be distributed more evenly across the community at large.

I'm essentially done with PR.  We'll be looking to hire someone to answer these questions when and if we can find someone who is able to understand not only the complexities of the market and the merits of the tech (both presently existing and planned) but is also able to cope well and understand that so much or the FUD that has been spread about this project is not only unfounded but entirely infantile and laughable.

That's great news on the market cap position! Iw also do believe that the coin is being accumulated right now as well. It's basically at 60% of this week's average price right now, and a lot of people must be thinking about acquiring some. What makes you beleive that 15,000 sats is a good price? I wouldn't think 10x the current price is a 'good' price, maybe just a price it will hit..

There was a temporary fork in the blockchain until it corrected itself and people started peeing in their panties and dumped a bunch of the coin.  Now it appears there's a bunch of people trying to FUD as they missed out on the chance to get some coins really cheap.
