During times of change, people re-evaluate the current condition vs the potential condition of their position. It is easier to make predictions about the future of a position that has already been taken and has some history behind it to base future performance upon. When change comes, often an entire new set of factors is PERCEIVED to be possible (sometimes positive factors and sometimes negative factors). This PERCEPTION is made by each person based on whether their belief is that the future will be better or worse.
In general, I have learned that it is easier to pull something down than it is to lift something up. If 70 people are optimistic and 30 people are pessimistic, there is a fair likelihood that the 70 will eventually follow the 30 for at least a short period of time. In regard to prices on the market in a downward or upward trend, everyone is subject to the price whether they like it or not. The only choice is to buy, sell, or hold - until something influences the PRICE to change.
I believe this is what we see at this moment. I don't expect it will last long and I believe some of the 30 are negative-opportunists taking advantage of uncertainty to lead the 70 into a downward trend. Some of the 30 want an easy shot at what some of the 70 are letting go of.
That is my
opinion in regard to this (what I believe to be) temporary panic.
Because we can not make any clear statements or provide any clear details of the continuing and future plans for LTCD until the transition is complete, there is nothing solid for anyone to measure their potential.
It is tearing me up right now that more information can not be appropriately announced. Good news. But we are not in a position to PROVE it or post anything firm that would indicate happy days ahead. It's just a matter of propriety and good form that we are waiting until everything is solidly in place before saying anything firm.
I leave this post with the statement that all of us on the incoming team stepped up voluntarily to keep things calm and intact when an unexpected event occurred. We all thought we were just being helpful in general and just giving Litecoindark and Xircom some breathing room to re-consolidate and determine how to proceed from an unfortunate circumstance. As it turned out, those of us who volunteered to keep the house tidy (because we love this house) for an expected brief period of time are now doing this long-term. We didn't see it coming. But it is what it is and it will be what it will be.
anyway it is a new beginning for LTCD
so why not start from the bottom
Can someone point out to me an example of a coin that exchanged devs and succeeded?
I know that Worldcoin had a complete exchange of devs and total control was passed onto their community and they are doing very well so far!!
They changed the logo... The website... Created a new look overall... Organized into a committee just as we are doing... Got new developers... Just as we are doing... I have seen this all before so that's why I am holding!!
Cheers,
Ghosty
Exactly, a great team is going to take over LitecoinDark. I have spoken with the new team and they have great plans for the future. I really don't know why there is so big panic going on.
