So ya, F all the people saying don't cry about compensation because BA doesn't owe us anything beyond what we paid for.

Kiss my fat a$$ !

110 BTC  lost for me and that's without any overclocking or so called compensation units Sad

Dear BA,

Aren't we due an update today?  I want a definite shipping date because if you don't know by now then something is seriously wrong!  Saying that though, you've said shipping dates before and they've just passed us by without so much as an apology!

This is the critical point for me and no doubt all your customers to date.  Despite all the delay we still have a chance of making ROI if BTC remains at the current price so please do the right thing and give us a full update with precise information and stick to your promises.  I'm loosing over AU$5,000 in this current difficulty alone, who would be happy with that? regardless of the AU$55,000 I should have made by now if you shipped in February.  Plus the money I've spent on power upgrade to accommodate my 5 x X3's!

I just don't understand why a company would treat customers like this.  Surely you would understand that it isn't good for business and that your name/brand is going to suffer badly unless you turn this around right now, give us some good news and stick to your promise!  For once !!  No more bullsh#$ !! PLEASE !!!!!!

Waiting eagerly,
Craig.

Debitme, the surprise they promised us around the time of shipping will be that there are no miners and they're running away with the money!  Grin

HAHA, what a surprise.  Only difference is that would not make me happy for choosing BA.

I am guessing the surprise will be all orders will be doubled, free PSU's with all units, and every unit shipped will come with a free 1 chip version of their scrypt machine!

In reality, I bet the surprise will be, the LCD screen will display the price of bitcoin from MTGox's API. lol

I want them to ship yesterday.

I want them to refund me today. But blackarrow (The Thread Opener) told me via PM

... we'll ship it to you shortly.

and some hours ago the answer to my refund request was "sell yourself".
Here is the proof:

Did they really say they'd ship shortly in September??

Quick update:

We have stocked all required parts, except the LCDs and cases for X1 which are due to be delivered next week.

The miners are in production including the X1 boards. Several software issues have hold the shipment for few days but we expect to start shipping any day now.

Ahh the LCD screen, the thing that set their miners apart is now causing a delay in manufacturing.  And, instead of coming on here and answering some questions, they choose to post as close to nothing as possible and leave.

How can anyone expect to receive future business with practices such as this.

Bobsag, please tell me you have more to report than that measly update they left?  Certainly there is more to give information wise?  And I think rethinking the compensation package is about due up for discussion.  Are we going to get more information?

You should have your lawyers provide a BTC address so I can give them a tip as I'm sure you're going to be paying them a little as possible. I'd like to help everybody who has to do business with you guys.

This is a joke BTW.

Yes, but that is Germany.  Nothing to do with China so I'd give it up if I were you.

We all just need to wait now.  The machines will come and soon I hope but lets face it, there is nothing we can do now.  It's too late in the game to get refund from them so just get ready for the shipping notification.

I am  trying to understand why BA are still doing procurement of non ASiC related components (cases, LCD etc) several months after the promised ship date of Feb 24 th.  Can someone enlighten me, did I miss something important?

Maybe this:
In Germany it is a crime, what Black Arrow does. It is called "Vorschussbetrug" oder "Vorkassebetrug".
http://www.dict.cc/deutsch-englisch/Vorkassebetrug.html (advance fee fraud)

"[if the default (failure to preform in due time) is due to intent or gross negligence]"

It takes two months to forge and package an ASIC and BA took orders for 24 Feb 2014 dispatch until 29 Jan 2014. It's beyond a reasonable doubt that the default is due to intent.

FYI just because the Germans use fancy terminology doesn't mean it's not also fraud in every other country as well.

How long do you wait? I have paid 6 months ago.

I paid 7 months ago.  Does that make you feel better?  Plus my order is US$25K, how much are you complaining about huh???

Quick update:

We have noticed that there is a concern about the LCD displays. Because the LCD display is not an essential component we will not let it delay the production of the miner. If the LCD displays are not in on time for shipment we will ship the miners without the LCD display. Once we have them in stock we will ship them to everybody that would like the LCD. The people who prefer to not receive the LCD display will receive a gift card that matches the price of the LCD.
So then what else is holding up shipment? If we forgo the LCD, what else are we waiting for? Ship the miners!
