BA reply to my email

Quote
As per Management’s update, we cannot afford to send refunds as we've spent all money to purchase parts required to build the miners. If we cancel your order we have nothing to do with the cases, power supplies and other goods that have been manufactured just for your order. For this reason it is difficult for us to refund everything.

Is this my problem?

SCAM       they have lived with customers money, no investments at all...
IMHO if they told the truth that 70% of cost was from their own personal money - meaning customers paid only 30% of investment - they should be able to refund anyone who requests it 30% of what the customer paid. Let's see if they can do that. At least it would be an act of good faith and allow BA more time to start selling miners from stock in order to recoup their money and be able to afford to refund customers the other 70% they're owed.

I'm trying to give you helpful advice Alex.
At least try to prove to people you're not as scummy as it seems.

Or delete this post. You pick the type of person you wanna be.

You have unspent Bitcoins in the wallets people sent to you, don't you? You've been mining in the past on your own equipment, and still are very likely. You should be able to slowly start refunding people.

My orders are from mid December 2013 (and payment confirmation was extremely fast)

Did you request a refund?

X3 customers who ordered and paid in sep/oct/nov have got nothing so far except for a few that requested refunds.

While it's nice BA is shipping a few units, those of us that ordered and paid first and haven't requested a refund are choked.

The MS/TB GB isn't going so well, they just got told "next week" after the first shipping deadline was missed.

Also, yes, even with free Minions these miners+heat sinks cost as much as an S3.

They must have found an issue with the miner so they're going to fix the problem before they resume shipping. You know, to save us from receiving a poor excuse for a miner.

$20 bucks it has to do with the LCD.  You know its something like, well when we unplug it from our datacenter, the LCD still shows our pool information and we don't want to lend any more suspicions into that we are mining with your stuff, so we will just leave it plugged in for another 2 weeks while we fix the problem.  Fuck all of you Smiley

Actually when you consider that you paid them for the machine already,.. it's actually not a brick, it's still a money maker for them until they ship it, it's still profitable for them, chugging those last few BTC out before they ship b/c no one will take legal action at this point, everyone has just given up or given in.

People who sit and say nothing or throw their hands up and say oh well are the scammers favorite pawn. Let me guess when people tried to warn others about BA in the beginning you were one of the ones trolling them so no one would listen. Unlike yourself I like to get what I paid for its about principle and as some others stated trust in good faith transactions . Seeing your stance tells me alot about you . Save your trolling for another board if all this does nothing but steer someone away from giving BA business then mission accomplished . While you sit back and try and troll yourself from under your bridge .

An X3 will currently make $21 in the next 24/h.

$4.80 per 24/h is the average point where the miner is unprofitable to operate without free electricity.

$4.80 per 24/h is also the point at which the patiently waiting customer has been defrauded of 100% of his money.

With a price tag of $5200 the X3 is currently looking like a big power sucking brick(s). It's only virtues being the ability to play angry birds and warm the surrounding space. Not only that the ability to play angry birds is still pending.

Another email sent to MS and another no-reply. Getting very very old. Anyone out there fairing any better?
Try calling them. I've heard people have had better luck with that since it's not as easy to ignore a phone call versus an email.

Look for minersource on the spondoolies thread lol this thread is abandoned, everyone here got what the deserved, BA was an unknown company with no track record in producing 28 nm heck 55nm chips, anybyou guys are surprised they ripped you off???

Everyone knows the preorder game is a gamble, some got lucky with the knc Jupiter and early avalons, others got screwed by other vendors too many to name here.

I wanted to buy a bunch of x1s myself back in dec but it seemed too good to be true at the time and invested in gpus instead.

Great, here's a cookie...

Still no update BA.  What's going on, surely you couldn't have failed more than you already have?  The world hates you, your employees are selling private info to make some money, and your chips are worthless.  Any comment on the above?

Also, whats going on with your, "investigation" into your email list getting stolen?  Did you think we would forget Alex Sovu?  You could just put out a statement saying you were, "investigating" and the world would be happy with it?  How is that going?

David's last known location was Calgary, AB perhaps this is his X3 as the auction is from eBay Canada.

EDIT:

After closer inspection it seems the item location is "Chicago, Illinois, United States" I wonder why it was posted to eBay Canada?

I messaged Minersource again, asking for an update on the LCD and compensation and to ask for a partial refund due to the lie I was told about my ordered being valued at $100 when it wasn't. So far it seems they dont give a shit and ignoring my emails.

So if anyone is considering buying from minersource, just stop, because as soon as you have an issue. They will ignore you!
You honestly need to file a claim with the FTC to get their attention. Once you have their attention, they can be reasonable people from my experience.
