I'll just assume it's a website error until I actually get paid the much lower estimate.

This is by far my favorite pool, very fair methods, pay me now, and payouts on invalids if I choose.  Would hate for something to be seriously wrong and have a massive ship jump to the pool that shall remain nameless.
According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Yeah the rate does look small, I moved my 2 measley 5830s over to the Guild myself around an hour ago. Hopefully like you said its a web error.

Not sure if this is a web site error or a general syncing problem:

The round started 5 mins ago, but we already have 1.6m shares. That's obviously incorrect. And causing a lower estimated reward.

My payout was almost double my estimated and I came in late on the round (switched to slush during the recent network timeouts to reduce load), so yes, the estimated being reported is incorrect and looks to be because the shares count is off.

I'd guess everything will be peachy in a week after the servers get load balanced properly and bugs are squashed.

Same, my actual payout was what it should have been.

My only concern is that 3 of my workers are getting about 2.5% stales right now. My other workers aren't reporting that high an amount which is good, just concerned why some of them are. Is it because I'm being routed from west-coast to the east coast with increased latency?

There was an error on block 377 (which I believe is the block where estimates were quite a bit off/share counts).  377 the ID I used for internal testing when checking if the servers would sync share counts for reward calculations.  I had cleared out 377's influence before pushing the changes live, but when 375 was calculated originally, the shares from 375 were posted into 377 and not cleared out again.  This was why Block 375 wasn't properly counting the shares from US East at first.  The round ended up running with 375's historical share counts + 377's actual share counts.

I have fixed this error, so your rewards/share counts will have changed (only slightly for MOST users) due to the correction of this block.

My workers only get 1/3 of the Mhash/s they should usually get on btcguild.. e.g. my HD5870 only has 140Mhash/s, that's what phoenix says at least. It works fine on any other pool.

Did you give it some time to let the stats catch up?

No, I'm talking about the software, not the webinterface. It takes the average of the last 5 seconds I guess.

Oh sorry, my brain skipped over that part. You are sure you have the same settings? That's odd.

so i have checked the topic:

i have 1,35GHash floating into btc-guild since tomorrow. And in the last Block i got 0,07 Coins.
Yesterday, with only 400GHash, i got 0,03 to 0,04 coins. There is something going wrong.

if i understood right, the shown award in the blocklist is final, so i think i got definitly too less. I am switching as fast as possible back to slushs pool, until that problem is solved.

If you like my advise, i would be thankful getting a small donation at:

There is absolutely nothing wrong with rewards, block 377 being an exception which has been fixed.  Your rewards are being calculated EXACTLY as they should be.  Your total shares / round's shares = rewards.  Comparing rewards to yesterday where the server was completely usntable is not a wise idea.

Same card, same software, same parameters (except for the url of course)
Also workers idle sometimes, don't know why. I have a 32mbit connection, so that should be the problem.

Your idles came during a block calculation based on time stamps.  There's currently a small hang on the master server (uswest) when a block is calculated.  Working on fixing that this afternoon when the EU server comes up.

Thats nice! Can you tell me in which country the EU server is located and if we can choose to connect to the EU server only?

Block rewards are calculating PERFECTLY right now from every test I've run.  Your shares are not worth X.  Your reward is:  Your Shares / Total Round Shares.  Each share is worth 50 BTC * (1 / Round Shares).

EU server is located in Netherlands.  It will be possible to connect specifically to it using eu.btcguild.com  (DOES NOT WORK YET, DONT BOTHER).
