problem with BTCguild?

all my miners are working.. my confirmed money is not going up.. my bitcoins per day has gone down by a half, yet my miners are working and have been working all night..

i didn't receive a bitcoin that i withdraw a few hours ago..

should i change pool?

don't know what to do Smiley

This exactly.
I'm guessing the stats aren't being updated, I can't check my miners UI, as long as shares are being accepted...
Also, check for Long Poll messages (LP), if you have some then everything should be fine.

Maybe we can search block explorer to see if the pool has generated any additional blocks, via account #?

Round shares reset, time did not, I'm betting on stats bug. Or a process got hung up.

Nvm, apparently a new account number is generated for every round.

I had to jump ship. Glad I did b/c all of my miners were pointed to US Central. Will be back once all of this gets sorted. BTCG has by far the superior user interface over all of the other pools I have looked at.

I think it's a display bug, because there seem to be round resets for the share display.
I just hope that the shares are correctly associated with my account  Undecided

Hi

what is going on..I have made hardly any BTC in the last 12 hours.  6 hour rounds....can you please fix this.
It is like every other day there is something wrong with this pool.  No wonder so many workers have left this pool...amateur hour.

Hi
If you watch you'll notice that the round shares are resetting, so it appears that it's just the block processing script choked again. This happened a bit ago.
If you're worried, there are other pools...

Block script got stuck due to US Central's freezing of bitcoind.  Been using that server to run JoelKatz' patches since it tends to have the most issues.  Sent him a report of roughly what happened, though its hard to tell since it froze, rather than crashed.

Block updater script has gone through the blocks from last night.  Working on a script that will kill a bitcoind process and restart it if a server isn't reporting any shares for 5 minutes

The new server was delivered to my house yesterday, and I've been setting it up to replace all the current US servers.  It will be shipped out on Tuesday, so it could potentially be online for next weekend.

When are rewards going to be fixed for everyone that solved blocks on the UK servers?
Missing some 10+ block payments due to those crappy servers  Undecided

There is no "fixing".  The server that was offline/crashing during those blocks.  If you even managed to get a single getwork response during that time it was a miracle.

DE2 is being setup TODAY.  I'm also changing the server sync code to be more flexible when two servers fail to communicate a round change with each other.

Hi

Where are the rewards for the last 12-16 hours. My 60-70 workers were solving shares all the time.  Are you saying that there were no rewards?? WTF were they hashing as all of my workers were getting new shares.

HI

In http://www.btcguild.com/blocks.php, you're not seeing #1362 - #1384?
There were a couple invalids in there.
There was also a couple of really difficult rounds, 7,609,317 and a couple 1,890,000+.
EDIT: By difficult I mean unlucky.

Hi

Shares prove to the pool server that you're trying to help the pool solve a block. You only get rewards when blocks are actually solved, because that's where the pool gets its bitcoins. A few pools do "pay per share" regardless of when blocks are solved but they usually have higher fees because they absorb risk by doing so.
