Block calculation script (cron task that loads a page on the webserver to check for new blocks) stopped working last night due to modifying the .htaccess to force the use of https on the website.  The script didn't follow the https redirect, so it wasn't being run.  All the shares/block info are fine, and the backlog of blocks is being caught up.

I kinda like the stats doing this sometimes. It's kinda like Christmas morning, You not real sure what your gonna get when the stats update.
It could be a couple of 3 blocks or a crapload of sub 10 minute blocks  Grin. Kinda ads some excitement to an otherwise boring mining career.

Dont think so, can you imagine how many people would expect certain results then get less and start moaning at btcguild ? It can be chaotic Wink

Oh, of course if they get more than expected they will be quiet Cheesy

I can see your point here with the xmas morning. Although when I woke up and saw what my 'Generated in the last 24 hours' was, I thought all of my machines when down shortly after I went to bed. Had a minor panic attack until I realized what was going on.

Looks like there is a problem with the last block!!!! https://www.btcguild.com/block_inspect.php?block=989

It looks like it doubled everyones shares or split them in half and only the first line is what flows through to the earned column on the pool block history thus it looks like everyone is only going to pay out half.

One of my miners was down for an hour or two last night.  I never received an email.  Come to think of it, I have never received an idle timeout email from BTC guild.  I've had my donation set at 2.5% for days and the idle threshold is set to 5 minutes.

Anyone know why this might be?

It's a big sync issue I've been having with spreading these servers out.  There won't be any new servers for a few weeks, so the idle emails will be back soon.

yeah, it split in half, currently only shows half of it is credited though, hopefully it will credit the other half eventually

Looks like it could use another server in northeast us, east canada, if growth continues.

I'm ordering a PowerEdge server this weekend.  The current goal is that this one server will be able to replace all 3 US servers, and add on capacity equivalent to two more servers.  It will be a load balanced server, meaning you point at one URL and it points your connection to one of five internal pushpool servers automatically.  Similar server will be sent to the EU after the first one is in place.

If the pool becomes saturated before its ready, I will close registrations until we're ready.

I think eleuthria has probably done a meltdown from all the crap over the last two weeks, grabbed all the donations, and is now sitting drunk and naked in the middle of the server room with a case of Makers Mark doing shots with the load balancer.
