Looking at the block details, I'm seeing nothing wrong with the block you identified. The number of users credited with shares that round is within the expected range of users for a round of that length. In case of a sync error, assuming the failsafe didn't catch it, you'd see roughly half as many people getting rewards, and getting twice their expected average (ie: One of the two servers didn't sync up).

His cable modem probably just disconnected for parts of the previous round and all of that round.

Anyone else lose all shares out of our round 1869?
Mine's normal for 1869, pretty much consistent with past rounds with my usual +/- 0.001 BTC rewarded range.

I think we are just getting some shitty luck. Other big pools are doing very well luck-wise right now. Our day will come!

I cant believe that I have not found one block yet..... I have logged 2006803 shares. I am very glad I am in a pool and not solo. speaking of finding a block, shouldn't the lucky bastard that finds the block get some kindof bonus? whouldn't that bring more Mhash to the pool if that is advertised?

The bad luck is getting ridiculous. I dont know why, but we always get bad luck after changing servers. Maybe we should sacrifice some young virgin to the gods before eleuthria changes a server. I cant believe that I have not found one block yet..... I have logged 2006803 shares. I am very glad I am in a pool and not solo.

Ive found two, and I would have made double by going alone than mining in a pool. But its all theoretical, because the murphy law states that if I had gone alone I would not have found any. Maybe if you would have gone alone, you would have found some.

back when i first started mining i would switch to a different pool when some bad luck appeared. and half the time i would just switch to more bad luck while the pool I was on would start getting good luck. so as soon as I leave.. we would get several blocks under 45 minutes.
sooo.. i am just sticking with btcguild. one or two bad days we have had.. are just evening out the last 4-5 days where I was making a bit more then estimated.
sure switching to deepbit is always an option but for every approx 3 blocks they find all i need is 1 at btcguild due to the speed difference of the pools. It looks like slush's pool has had better luck the past 24 hours and our turn is sure to come shortly.
i guess i gave up trying to always get that exact estimated amount day after day. essentially manual pool hopping.

Its an order. what is even more ironic.. is that btcguild has slowly been getting more and more power.. from around 2100 gh/s to 2400+ gh/s and it is not helping solve more blocks in a shorter amount of time. it just cut our payout per block :-(

I think it's because that's offset by the increase in difficulty?

My 24 hours rewards its almost at half what it should be. -50% luck in the last 24 hours its a lot of variance for such a big pool. EDIT: Its oficial. My 24hours earnings are less than half of what they should be theoretically. <50+% bad luck in the last 24 hours. Not bad...

I think it's because that's offset by the increase in difficulty? good point.. i have no idea how much more processing power a pool needs to keep finding the same amount of blocks in 24 hours as diff keeps stepping up.

Thanks dude, we just had a 9 minute round... My 24hr estimate is now 0.1192 If that hits 0.3x like it did previously in the next 12hrs, I'll donate 10% (0.03) to you!
