why do most islam extremists hate any other religion than islam?

A bit of the subject, but I have a serious question.

Some years ago I worked at a mental hospital with very sick people.  Schizophrenics, pananoid or not, seriously depressed people.  Both men and women.

A number of the men thought they were Jesus Christ, others thought they were Napoleon.  They were serious, it seemed.  Also harmless.

If in the Islamic culture a man tilted the same way, thought he was Mohammed, wouldn't he be quite violently inclined?

why do most islam extremists hate any other religion than islam?

Because islam has not been through a reformation.  Despite its age, it is still very primitive.

Judging by the Islamic extremists, Islam is getting more primitive.  Smiley

When you say "It's the problem," do you mean Islam? Or the world not knowing what Islam really is?

Yes. Hate is too strong. It can bring the hateful person down... literally harming him because he is hateful. How about "revulsion?"

i don't thinke people hare islam.
I believe most of islam people are Kindness.
But little part of them are extremely, which make people fear.

Its around 10%+ that is "extremists"..

But if you think about there is more than 1 billion muslims.. THAT IS A LOT OF EXTREMISTS.

That seems fake. You're saying > 150 million Muslims are extremists. Got sources for that, and what definition of extremist is used?

why do most islam extremists hate any other religion than islam?

A bit of the subject, but I have a serious question.

Not sure I follow, or even if the whole setting makes sense. But Napoleon? Someone missed their history lessons.

Doesn't really matter.  Point is, in western culture truly crazy people have identified with Christ and Napoleon.  I suggest that perhaps in Islamic culture, they identify with Mohammed.  Bluntly, they think they are Mohammed.

And then what?

And then those are people with mental problems. I'm not sure you can take much away from their chosen delusion or culture of origin. But as I see it, just as some chose the portions they liked of Napoleon (maybe his presence and other superficial traits) while ignoring all the rest, others might choose the portions of Mohammed they like which happen to turn them into peaceful people as well. Who knows? And btw that's also what most people do, mental illness or not.

Oh this is going to be bad, there is no adult discussion possible about religion in general, because in the end it's called 'believe', and it's difficult to have a discussion about something that is hard to prove and experience if you are not into it.

In terms of hate, any book, followed by millions that is taken out of context to harm any living thing is something I despise.

The difference is the things you see when you place the religious writings side by side. Then you can see the evidences.

Believe? Do you believe that you can post another comment in this forum? If yes, do you also know it for a fact? Is there the slightest possibility that the electricity might fail right before you hit "Enter?" Is there absolutely no chance that your ISP will fail you right before you hit "Enter?"

You believe lots of things, just like everyone else. But nobody knows for an absolute certainty what will happen until it does.

I believe I'll have another beer. I'll let you know if it happens Cheesy

But seriously, there are different contexts to "belief". I tend to hold that the great humorist Mark Twain got it right when he said that "Faith is the belief in what you know ain't so", as opposed to a belief that, barring a supernova, the sun will tomorrow once again appear to rise in the east due to the rotation of the planet.

...and the beer is quite good.

You got it, man. The taste of the beer is the evidence that it is quite good. Hope it doesn't kill you to prove that it isn't.
