Why do people hate islam?

I am here to just say one thing? Why do YOU hate islam? and you should really give a valid reason not a shitty one that says 'Because media'
and Yes, I am a muslim for those who ask, just tell me, come out of your shell and say why you HATE it, and I could be here to clarify things to you.
Also here is something that most people mistake about islam is that "Islam hates other religions" for this I say, Islam does not hate ANY religion, but it suggests to 'invite' them to islam, as slowly, and peacefully, even if they refuse, you can try and try, until it's their choice, you stop. and for all the wars that happened, it's because the other religions decided to come into war on Islam.

I think this roots down to terrorist attacks. Most of the terrorist that the news shows are muslims. People are channeling their hatred towards terrorists to muslims, thus including what they believe in and that is Islam. However, there is a deeper meaning in Islam that people don’t know.

lets get it right : 99.9 of muslims are actually peaceful, and that is the truth ! ( i really mean it ).

having read the quran and haddith myself, i can relate Quran is just as normal as bible and talmud.

Making islam as peaceful as christianism and judaism.

BUT for the overall world thinking, and reading all the news you have to admit islam is making the headlines.

Philipines war : christians vs islam.
Myanmar : Buddhist vs islam rohingyas.
Kashmir territory dispute : Indus vs islamic terror groups.
Israel : Judaism vs islamic Hamas terror group.
Center africa : baptist christians vs islam militants.
Syria : Islam vs ilslam.
Lybia : Islam vs islam. Irak, Sudan,, Yemen etc...

Muslims are sadly also victims of these conflicts of course.

But the media headlines and informations being mostly related to islam conflicts, people will fear islam more likely than buddhism for exemple.

if you asked the same questions during colonial era it would be like :

" why christians colonised everybody ? why everybody hate christians ? "

Also look at numbers. terror attacks usually have a very high kill rate.

one islamic attacks kills 10 to 100 non muslims.

the kill rate is way higher than normal wars.

Nazi vs USSR had a kill rate of 1 nazi for 4 USSR death.

there are an estimate of around 10k to 1M radicalised muslim in the world. given the kill rate, you may understand why so many people fear islam so much.

even if everybody knows that 99.9% of muslims are peacefuls.

0.1% of 2 000 000 000 muslims is still something like 20 000 000. potential jihad warriors.

to give you an insight, nazi germani at its height had an effective 18 200 000 soldiers with a much lower kill rate.

so yeah, to sum it up, people fear wars and the people being parts of them.

I’ve read somewhere that it is in nature of man to fear or reject what they do not truly understand. This may be the reason why some people hate Islam. That’s because they do not really understand it and it’s cause. Not to mention the fact that whenever they hear the word Islam, the often think terrorist, without even trying to knownit better.

Before you start to believe what you are saying,  in the 1950s no one had the mentality that Islam is a purely about terrorism, but with the surge of terrorism mainly affiliated with Islam, more and more people are afraid of Islam and we we are right to do so because they're mostly terrorist aligned.

Islamic sources can be interpreted on a scale from very aggressive to very peaceful. Many factions exist on different positions of the spectrum while average everyday normal Muslim is give or take the same as any everyday normal guy anywhere else in the world. Though they have a tendency to support or at least turn a blind eye to the actions of the more extreme factions, as their actions are based on the same sources.

Actually I am not muslim, but i dont hate islam or any other believe or religion.
Become a people who dont hate anybody or religion can make me stay in peacefull.

Well, I'm not muslim, but I respect muslim people and - for sure - I don't hate them.

Btw, I'd like to receive the same tolerance and respect from them: in many case they have very strong believes about religion, and a relaxed discussion is very difficult.

Fair enough. If you study the Islamic holy books, it is clear. Anyone who preaches tolerance towards Islam is either ignoring these facts, or is unaware of them. Non-Muslims are treated like sub-humans in Islam. There are more than 50 Muslim-majority nations in the world (the number is increasing, with Bosnia being the latest addition) and non-Muslims can't live with respect in any of these nations.

It's because most Muslims are terrorists and most people thought that all Muslims are terrorists. They also have different religious practices. However, I really think that we should still respect them because not all of them are terrorists. There are people who have different religion and people who don't have a religion who are either good or bad.

Muslims are not terrorists, the one who thinks them as terrorists do not has any knowledge about Muslims or Islam. Islam is the religion of peace, brotherhood and equality.  We must not think of Muslims as terrorists. How can we hate Islam when we do not know it. We must respect other religions.

I don't  hate Islam per se .... In my book it's exactly the same as any other religion. They annoy me all equally. Believing the world was created for you speaks volumes of the ignorance and arrogance of the people who buy into those doctrines. That's what I hate .... the stupidity of it all.

Recent events with Islam extremism have painted a negative light on the religion as a whole. People take the actions of the few and attribute them to the masses out of fear, paranoia, xenophobia, and based on what the media tells them.

Well that is because they associate them to the terrorist group, they thought that islams teaching and what is in their Qur'an is to fight in the name of Allah in the wrong way.

I don't hate islam , i hate those people who cause islam to be bad in other peoples eyes , i hate those terrorists who proclaimes themselves as muslims which is not true because terrorists are no religion they only cause havoc in this world , bombings some countries just to let the world know that they are the number one enimies of the most countries.
