Bloodbath... COIN ETF got denied by SEC.

What's an ETF? an altcoin?

Exchange traded fund. Got denied because SEC concluded it cannot exercise oversight on the major bitcoin exchanges.

Ah, thanks.  Do we want the SEC trying to exercise oversight?  Probably not.

Probably not, but I am not sure what "exchange oversight" has to do with an ETF Huh

Ha ha and I didn't even have to light a cigarets to get this bus to come 10 seconds after lighting up.

But under an hour for the last one is pretty sweet.

It means not relying solely on the folks running the exchange to be honest. Checks and balance's to give some assurance that it is not a scam and actually has all funds/reserves needed.

Of course that didn't stop Madoff from gaming the system with his Ponzi...

Right... Once could argue that if they cannot do it with bitcoin's public blockchain, then they cannot do it with any other asset. Sounds like a bit of a lame excuse to me, but then I have not done much digging into the issue. Anyway, BTC seems pretty much unaffected by the decision.

LOL Kano I just realized that one fast block on top of the one before that which is waiting to be confirmed is going to lead to the Huh? of how come I dont see my payments  ?s comeing flooding in right after the last one matures and before the next block is found.

I noticed more people tend to ask when they have a block that was the next block found before the lasts one were even matured..  More then when its just a block a day and usually just one block lag on payouts showing up in there wallets.

Just a small observation I seemed to notice about the frequency of when that ? comes up more often.
