Block!
And there is the 1 more! JingleDollars is a 70TH/s miner...welcome to the Acclaim Board with your 1st Kano block! This is our 2nd of the day! That block was mined by a NiceHash USA rental. My JingleDollars mining name originated with a frequent phrase in an old book about making money with gumball machines. Same here...looking pretty decent with almost 30TH, a day more for 5Nd. When we get these last two A6s back online (my partner finally got his wife to allow them...and they've got free power...lol...) with a coloc, we should be at around 37TH. What I'm pleased with is that the Avalon gear hashes consistently at more than expected with no issues.

also note that pps% is 101 for Jan and 116 for Feb One good thing about a 5 day n is positive variance can be very big.

I must be a moron as I still haven't figure out this 5n. Forgive my idiotic question, but if you don't jump around from pool to pool and you are 100% on this pool and mining 100% everyday, does it matter if it is 5n or 1n or 100n?

Any N value doesn't matter what you do. The 5N reduces variance, but has no other expected effect on your actual reward. The idea of a larger N is to smooth out your rewards so they vary less, not increase or decrease the total.

No. See the next post However, he's pointing out that the variance, at the moment, up to the current block, is very positive.

I put 2 R4 to kano, the hashrate and share rate are too low. It goes back to normal everytime I update my minimum difficulty. Could you check something wrong? My name is huynhdat1989.R4 and .R402. So I have to update minimum difficulty every 2 hours, it is so inconvinient.

The difficulty will go down to the appropriate value for your miner. Higher difficulty = fewer shares is the same as lower difficulty = more shares Same expected statistical reward. If there's a problem with your miner and needs a higher difficulty, then set it in the Workers->Management page. Edit: the bitmain web site says Hash Rate 8TH/s (Batch 3) and 8.7TH/s (Batch 4). Variation of ±5% is expected
and your shift graph is showing around 16.2TH/s for the past day or so, so it looks like they are mining fine already.

It is just for the beginning, for example when the difficulty I set are 4800 and 4042. They get about 17-18THs total. But when the system modify to 5860 and 5200. The total share rate is reduce about 14-15THs. Do you know how to set fixed difficulty. My miners run faster at lower difficulty.

The total share rate is reduce about 14-15THs. Do you know how to set fixed difficulty. My miners run faster at lower difficulty. Again, unless there is a problem with your miners, the difficulty makes no difference. When difficulty goes up, you get less shares, when difficulty goes down you get more shares. Most miners take at least an hour to settle into their hash rate. Also as I said above: If there's a problem with your miner and needs a higher difficulty, then set it in the Workers->Management page. The 14THs <-> 18THs is probably just variance. Look at the web site to see what it is really doing, since the web site says what you will be paid, it doesn't matter what the miner says. Also the hash rate will vary every shift - that is expected. The higher the difficulty, the more it will vary.

Well ... considering it's only just hit 120%, you'll find this or longer on average 1 in every 3.3 blocks ... Time is not a factor in the determination, the number of hashes is.
