It happens occasionally...we're all in the same boat. Patience.  Kiss

It is nice to get payed up front!  Although when I get an email saying that I received some btc automatically makes me think we found another block. Cheesy
Yeah when I processed the last 2 payouts I noticed that the rewards had dropped again, so I put the usual 'might get confirmed' 42,000 sat fee on them.
Thus 483094 got confirmed soon after it matured; but I created 483048 as a zero fee txn, so it almost certainly wont confirm until our next block.

483139, which matures in a few hours, also has the 42,000 sat fee on it, and since we're back into 'not very full' blocks again, I'll keep putting the 42,000 sat fee on them for a while.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Would you guys recommend the Avalons over the S9's? I'm thinking of buying some of the 741's when they release the next batch. Or if I can get in on a bulk buy. I have 2 more S9's coming in and I'm making pretty good money off of them but I' m just worried about the longevity of the S9's. Whats the oldest S9 you guys have?

FWIW, I have one running 24/7 since August '16, 10 more that have been running various lengths of time since January '17, and 19 sitting waiting for transformer installation. So far, I've had one bad board (went bad after ~3 months, unit was replaced), one unglued heat sink on arrival (no issues once glued back on), and one lost in shipping (a nightmare, took over 5 weeks to resolve, but they did eventually send me a replacement).

I started here, then took a while pool-hopping before settling back here permanently (I hope) back in February.

My first avalon 741 is now up and running and mining on kano pool. I just got it running. Took a bit because my internal network is not set to the default that the Avalon controller uses. I had to hook up a laptop, configure the laptops wired Ethernet port to be on the same segment and then was able to access the web based configuration.

Now I get to be a trained poodle and jump though the hoops needed to order more power supplies from the great underground empire. They want litecoin for payment!!!   ratsa fratsa grrrrr grumble.

I setup a litecoin wallet so I could have a safe place to hold the little buggers after I get a few from coinbase.  Grrrr.

Seems really odd that the great underground empire demands payment in litecoin rather than their beloved, making them billions, bitcoin.

Anyway, will order some more Avalon 741s to get my show more firmly on the road.

Oh pleasant surprise, the avalon controller already had kano.is as the pool config.

Something I learned about the Avalon controller.

There are two little keyhole shaped holes apparently for mounting the device on the wall.

DON'T use them with metal screws. One of them is positioned just right so it shorts out the power in the controller when the head of the screw presses against the UNPROTECTED circuit board inside the controller.

Just saying.

Well, that's odd. I added another 5/TH and my payments haven't actually gone up. I figured it would have some impact. My 5ND only went up 1av point so far. I have around 53 TH but my 5ND is at 49.19av.

Have you waited the ~5 days for the PPLNS to catch up?  (I think that's what it is..)

Indeed it is the ramp up from 48 to 53. Current pool hash has the 5Nd time at 2 days 17 hours. Mine on! Wink
