Anyone know of an existing alert service or web site/app that I could somehow set up to notify me of when Kano pool hits a block?  Like an email would be cool but a text service would be best
Seeing as how we may be here for a bit longer, I just wanted to see if anyone reading this thread/mining in this pool knows of a service to alert me each time Kano pool relays a block...

If nothing like that exists I suppose I could investigate a way to do this thru IFTTT or something similar. 

you can install the CKPool app on your phone. it send an instant notification every time a block is solved by the Kano pool.

wow Kano is really looking bad the last few days, luck has been horrible.
Could this be the worts Kano.is month in his history?

I wonder why this happened technically. Could this be that Kano.is such famous good luck is leveraging on this dark october?

Actually before that block that we're working on now, our PPPS% is 109.25%. And 28 blocks found after 27.33 expected. So we are doing fine. Just the last block is a taft bast*rd.

We had failovers on the main stratum again at 10:30 UTC
They're coming back up again now so that's about 5 minutes since 10:40 - so that means connection (network) problems for about 10 minutes there from 10:30 to 10:40
Hash rate is going back up again so all OK again now.

I have been doing that for a couple months for myself with my web server and decided others may want it.  I am a week or two away from getting minergain dot com running (free forever) to do kano plus a few others my volunteers work with.  It will also monitor your miners and alert you if any degrade their performance (bad card, internet, etc).  You'll be able to set email or text alert.  If you sign up, you'll get notified when its ready.
