Heh, but we just broke another record for the pool hash rate Smiley
The 5 minute rate got over 200PH at 00:17 UTC
It also got higher - to 201.02PH at 00:18 UTC Smiley
Seems it's still heading up also ...

That's pretty cool.  Means we should be getting a couple blocks a day on average.

I was going to say something about a block withholding attack, but I don't know why anyone would do that and keep adding more hashpower.

So I guess we still have rotten luck.

Fortunately, 'seems' has no effect on statistics Smiley

What would expected rate be at a stable 200PH, about 3 blocks/day?

M

Block withholding?

With careful manipulation a miner can choose to not send a share to the pool that would count as a block.

Clearly that hurts the miner as well the pool, so there would have to be some reason behind it that in most cases would be clearly illogical.

So, Kano, when this block finally hits, how red can you make it on the chart?  Bright enough that it hurts to look at?  Smiley

#FF0000 is as red as it gets Smiley

I have a s9 since a month and pointed at Slushpool, it gives me 0.0026 every 1 upto 9 hours depending on luck. I am interested in kano pool , so in case I joined kano pool, I get about 700 Ph / 140 Ph Slush/Kano proportion thus in case a block falls I receive 4.2 x times more. right? But it wil also take 4.2 times longer right?

But 97 hour no block is not convincing to switch pool at the moment
Having mined here for the 97 hours for you maybe your hashrate will break the spell . Besides you wouldn't be mining the 97 as you would start your own timer until a block is found.

I have to tell all the newbies that you need to wait it out and stay here, I can bog down this thread with my life mining choices but have stopped here as I have looked at what I make compared to else where. I can fight you to the death when I say this pool pays more. After 3 days of establishing your N-Share what you do is establish a constant payout at that share rate which adds up every month to be more.

After the block is found I want to hear from the ones that threaten to leave what you were paid PM me then take that number and add it to the total number of blocks found last month as this is a good estimate of what you can make every month.

Over 850%, this starts to feel unreal.

Is it possible that we all live inside some kind of matrix and that this block indicates some kind of bug ?

OK, my next big gun after using up 2BTC more on rentals ... pool restart in 17 minutes at 4:00 UTC
Everyone will get an immediate failover and fail back but cgminer will leave you in the lurch for 5 minutes mining on your backup then switch you back here if your backup isn't here.
I've run out of ideas after this ... yeah I'm getting desperate Smiley
