Yep, this may be a 500% block.  The virgins need to take one for the team.

A full sacrifice require removal of head.  Please sacrifice another one.   Probably why we haven't hit a block yet.  Wink

Yes, 125 hours is getting kind of ridiculous and please stop with that animal cruelty shit.  Maybe that why we don’t get a block!  Angry

And big surprise you are going to find a strong "Pro KanoPool" opinion from folks in this forum.

If it surprises you go and try to get a response or explanation of how the pool operates from A*t*o*l admins in their bitcointalk thread and then come back with the link to the results. Then I'll reconsider my personal "Pro KanoPool oppinion"

To me it always seems like every time I buy a new miner, luck turns to shit. Or every time I have an important transfer, we run into 50 minutes network block and the mempool backs up and I wind up getting my transaction stuck for an unending period of time.

Human mind evolved in the world where uncertainty was dangerous. If you don't know (can't predict) whether a tiger is going to attack you - you're dead. If you can't predict the weather and the storm ruins your house and kills your cattle - you're dead. So our mind subconsciously treats "random" "luck" "variance" or anything we don't possess control of as smth dangerous. This way religions and superstiotions emerged - they gave people the illusion of control over circumstances. And if they failed (and they usually did) they told ppl it was because of their sins, bad carma or wrong sacrifice ritual, and that gave another run to an illusion that uncontrollable circumstances could still be managed.
So it's natural that it seems to you that way. Because mathematics is highly unnatural to human mind)))

Yes, I said this because I have a pro KanoPool opinion too. It was sarcasm meant to express my confusion as to why someone would be surprised to find pro Kano people in a Kano pool thread.

Would it be possible to add a "Best Share Since Last Block" metric (for the pool) on the site?

Something like: http://solo.ckpool.org/pool/ shows?

This would of course reset when we find a block - but it'd be a fun data point to see how close a share was.

Definitely wouldn't mind having that as an extra reference in the pools stats as well.

No point - it's as you said, for fun, but it is usually misunderstood, since it actually has no meaning at all.

Yep, the 2nd of our 2 top miners has now shifted most of their hash away due to variance.

As of posting this, its been 22 min since the network found a block - TX fees might be high for this next one - here's to hoping we get it.

Was about 18.639   that's a normal big but less than the 21's and 23's that occurred over the weekend.  Quite a few of the most recent blocks are not showing who mined them, so not antminer, btcc, slush, nor kano.

Holy smokes!  21-23 btc??? Practically double of the 12.5!  Shocked  Looks like we missed out big time!  18 would be awesome too!  Tongue

Let’s just hope that cobramining doesn’t quit on us!  Undecided  Then we’d be dead!  Cry

OMG my worst fears came to life!  Embarrassed.  Now what?  Huh   And he still keeps pulling everything out!!!

Now we are more like a solo mining family than a pool!  Undecided

Actually only a few pools have been doing very well. Check BTC.com - half with 40-60% luck for the past 3 days. As long as kanopool can crack  one block very soon, people will come back. When I joined the pool a few months ago at 40PH and slushpool was 90PH. But slushpool is at 900PH. I wish the pool can get half of what slushpool got.
