Again...payments for a block go out AFTER (1) the block receives 101 confirmations, and (2) the NEXT block is found. That's because we confirm our own blocks. Patience, Grasshopper...
|
To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

They can be confirmed with any block. Its just a sure thing with our own. After 100 confirmations Kano sends it out with a no or low fee that can be confirmed by any pool. I've see it take less than a day and it got included in someone else's block.

Not true, the last two (or two out of the last three) went out on their own. Yes, because as Kano has said prior, on occasion he will actually push a payout by paying a fee...not SOP, though.

Yes, but it hasn't been sent if you look at the btc address the block was mined to. https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/address/18HaPa8WwqbVNeC4JpjAoxMbwSGbU5pS9CI'm sure it will be. Kano has always sent payments. Probably just a hiccup in the system.

I got paid less for the last block than I did for the one before! Sigh. Not sure how. I only lost 1 miner for 1 day, it should take a while for that to impact I thought, especially after we lost another 15PH. Oh well, still worth getting, Another thing that kind of irritated me. I looked at the shipping notice from Minerwarez and say the shipping date is scheduled for the 28'th! I thought it had just shipped early Never seen a notice go out a month before the item actually ships. Not that 7TH is a lot, but I'll take it. Just wish I could get a couple of boards for this S7 I have here. I think it is the boards, it only hashes 135GH. Prior block was 19.0, last block was 14.7...that will account for a drop in rewards. Ah yeah perfect! Thanks Yeah bro, the one before last was humongous! We all got payed less for the last one, so no worries!

On the shift page there is a metric called "PPS%" What does that stand for? I know there is a payment scheme with the same name but since we use PPLNS I figure it must mean something else in this particular context.
Also, on the blocks page there is a percentage called PAPPS. What does that stand for? Google is surprisingly silent on this acronym.
Thanks!

He shows you the PPS, Pay Per Share, rate for comparison so you can see how much your being paid vs. PPS. There is a question mark next to PAPPS so click on that for an explanation.

OMG I think I might blow a gasket!
__________
Dear Minerwarez and Minerwarez Customers, First off I want to thank you for the great job you are doing serving the smaller miners. As bitcoin continues to rise, the demand for miners continues to grow exponentially. I want to apologize for missing the shipdate on this order. I know all your customers will be disappointed and some will be justifiably angry. Please keep a list of people who were made to wait longer than we promised. I will find a way to make it up to them. Steve Head of Global Sales Canaan-Creative Dear Minerwarez.com Customer, Thank you for your support and enthusiasm to continue to expand the blockchain. We realize timing and difficulty are crucial factors that go into your decision to operate servers. The next two batches that were scheduled for shipment November 20th and December 5th have been delayed by approximately two weeks respectively. In order to fulfill orders as quickly as possible we have brought in additional staff so that as soon as we receive shipment from Canaan we will be shipping all orders out immediately. We appreciate Canaan’s pledge to find a way to make it up to customers and have included all customers of these batches on the list for recompense. International Customers arranging their own shipping will be receiving a separate email with shipping information within the next 24 hours. Customers inside the USA who have paid for shipping will not need to do anything further and will receive an email as soon as we receive the batches, shipping will follow immediately. Sincerely, Laurie Shipping Director Minerwarez.com

Looks like the demand is picking up big time on any and all viable Bitcoin miners being made right now.

I have not received payment yet either. Block hit over 24 hours ago. I am in no rush I haven’t touched any of my payments from Kano in over three months but it normally doesn’t take this long

I am still a bit green, but my philosophy has been to assume that you will receive all payments for blocks with 101+ confirmations within minutes of the Kano family finding the next block. Look at the Pool / Blocks page to see the number of confirmations. Since we are a lower hash rate, be prepared for several days and perhaps a week or more before you see it in your wallet - then be pleasantly surprised if someone else picks it up during their mining.

Yeah it's just that with no fee for me, I can't actually draw any BTC out of the block (from my fee) to pay a transaction fee. (which of course isn't much but it's not zero ) It will confirm with our next block, but I guess I'll need to modify the payout to draw some out of the dust and put that back into the pool from my previous fees - since the transaction input is (of course) only the block itself.

I know that and that was I was trying to explain to the first guy commenting about it, telling him that it doesn’t update until the block is found, I said it would be like 20 expected when we hit the next block and then the Vblob said I was wrong and that it would be 13.6 expected, after that I corrected myself self saying that I just realized that it was only 4 days but seemed like forever. After that the Vblob started insulting me with his correct calculations,... and he was still wrong! It isn’t 13.6 it is 13.78! But close enough! I just might hire that boy to calculate my profits for me, I’m even willing to pay double of what his s5 dusts out! Lmao! Yeah, I was replying to him, I know you know what's going on. "Vblob", that's the best you can do?? And 'AT THE TIME' my calculation was spot on. It's only basic math, duh. You both deserve the ignore button so goodbye math clowns! Oh no, we’re going to miss you Vblob! . Lol PM me if you need a job!

Guys, doesn't it look for you like we have some issues with invalid shares? That's how pool looks right now: KanoPool: 22,098.71THs Shares: 703,336,606,279 (51.55%) Invalids: 25.4M (21.5%) · 104.5G (12.9%) Last Block Pool: 40h 56m (495143) Network: 2m 27s (495434)

For example, Canaan has removed a majority of their hardware, but they probably leave old S7 or stuff running which would have a lot of invalids. Same goes for Cobra etcetera. That is my guess.
