How about being patient and teaching the New Ones who show up on the board better. Kano from what I can perceive so far is very patient considering he has answered the same question 50 times, and I have only been here about 3 weeks. Others responding to Newbies have not been as patient. This is all very new for the vast majority of the people who try the Pool and mine here. A little but of patience is in order. Honestly, I almost left after how I saw some others responded to on this board, but then someone would step in and actually help the person out and I stayed. Mine On with Kano-San. Come On Block!!

Did you reply to the right person when you sent this?  I thought I clearly explained what was going on, in a clear concise manner.

Bottom line is, if you want to grow, if this pool wants to stay viable, as ANTPOO floods the market with miners, a welcoming approach and a lot of patience is required with Newbs. The people like me, who was new to mining and had only been in Bitcoin since last June. I think if you are going to invest hundreds or thousands of dollars and get involved in mining in this pool people at least should read the thread and the info provided in kano.is

I'm sorry, but there are questions that has been asked and answered too many times in this thread, I even saw cases where people admit they prefer to just ask the question here in the forum before even trying to find the answer by themselves reading the thread or googling for it.

Just an example: People asking about the reward of a recently found block not appearing in their wallets. Come on, every time a block is found the question keep appearing time after time, it gets clarify and the next found block people asking the same again and again and again.

I'm a newb myself and this is the way I think. Again sorry if you don't like my answer, but it's just laziness.

In my part of the world, there are more people with money than brains. Patience is a virtue. If we all had it it wouldn' be. I see your point and feel the same way but we would be amiss of the larger picture if we simply treated newcomers like that. The larger picture in my 30,000-foot view is welcoming and retaining bitcoin miners.

I can see I'm hashing at about 10TH/s but in my account there is a "?" next to my hash rate and there are no payments yet.  Can anyone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong please?

Couple of different things:

1) You're mining to your address, so you don't need a login. If you want the stats, you need to login with a username and mine to that username. (In your miners, you setup it as username.workername)

2) The TX for the last block is unconfirmed, so no payments will appear in your wallet until that happens, unless your node happened to get the TX broadcast. When we hit another block, that TX will be confirmed.

People like this prey on weak hands. Trying to get them to sell when everyone with a brain knows that BTC does this after every big run, then it goes right back up to new highs. Predator!!
