One thing I have learned is we will know how much it changes when it changes.  Smiley

Exactly. Hence why I stated “interested to see” what it will be.

Mine on fellas.

My miner keeps falling back to its third address. Kano: I use miningrigrentals to control the pools I connect to. I haven’t rented it out in a long time. You haven’t banned me because you think I’m a renter, did you? I know you said earlier you ban rentals...

My advice would be to get away from MRR, I am sure he will not allow any hash from the site and its hard to impossible to differentiate from rental or not.

Mines at Kano.is best profit in the world!

I noticed that KanoPool has a default stratum difficulty of 4089, and my Avalon6 recently dropped down to 2689.

Any idea why? Is this a bad thing? Should I restart it?

Thanks!

P.S. - I restarted it the last time this happened, and it (expectedly) went back to 4089 until now.

The pool adjusts the difficulty to achieve 18 shares per minute, whether the adjustment is up or down.  It's normal.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.

though you are allowed to set a higher diff than the pool calculates for you if you want.  As kanosan has stated, won't affect your expected rewards but could increase variance if you set if very high for your hashrate.  I do it, but just a bit higher than pool calculated for all my miners put together to make it like one big miner.
Make sense?  Mine on dammit!  Cool

I use MRR because it sends an email if something happens to my miner. It’s also one of the few sites I can access at work. I can’t even access Kano.is anymore, so I have no way of knowing my miner went down.

If you know of any other sites/proxys that can do that I am all ears.

Have you tried awersomeminer. You can always access it through a proxy server. They can send email, text etc...

I can't access it from work. When I said proxy I was talking about a stratum proxy, and no I can't run my own because I can't access it from work.

You are correct.

In this case, you will need to set up the mining facility at your work location.

The phone apps can tell you if one of your miners go down.  Also, you can configure https://ckpoolmonitor.zachmonroe.com/ to email or text you if one of your miners drops below a hashrate that you define.  Info for these three items are listed on the 1st page of this forum thread or this:

Apple App:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1344360.0

Android App, read in the thread here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg11091187#msg11091187

For miner monitoring:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1331875.0

EDIT:  I just saw that you cant have phones at work.  But you can get email, right?  The 3rd one will do that.

D'oh! I got myself locked out of the website playing around with the Worker Managment setting... Sad

It will clear automatically.  I'm not sure if it's 30 minutes or an hour Grin
