Regardless, the hysteria seems to have pushed the price of TYGRR-P down to 1.02 or lower, which is a hell of a deal for a bond that's going to pay out 0.068BTC in a day.
not really
the lowest price trade today was 1.0597.
which is still low considering that goat buys the bonds back at 1.0
so just go and take it, unless you think that his plane is going to crash Smiley
What are you talking about? The last trade price was

GLBSE ‏@GLBSE
trade:70@1.012:TYGRR.BOND-P:1343160215
Expand
right!
sorry, i missed the last hour. and before the day's lowest was 1.05, not 1.0597
which means i was a sucker buying it today at 1.06 Smiley

You really should think of a person who you trust and who could do this stuff for you, when you're not there.
Nobody knows what can happen in a future. I mean, who is going to close down the business if you were hit by a meteorite? Smiley

piotr_n: at least give some correcting comment for calling my post "crap" and "trolling" prematurely. Goat just confirmed he was paid with 26 hours delay. That most certainly does not fall into any of yesterday's payments.

Also, it's interesting he's being paid with a round sum. Not a pure pass-through.

Nevermind this post, I misunderstood what was being said.

The Monday accounts are set to automatically pay out interest. Goat has his account to reinvest interest, and has to manually request a payout in order to pay dividends. It has been like this since Goat started his passthrough.

Oh, okay!

In that case, I apologize. I have misunderstood what piotr_n said. *strikes out the last post*

I still don't understand the reason for the delay though. But I guess that's for the users to worry about.

Unsuccessful troll (to not lose a bet) is unsuccessful.

You don't understand the reason for the delay primarily because you fail at reading.

Goat has always paid on Tuesdays - and you continue to make an ass out of yourself by trying to analyse what you clearly do not understand.

LOLZ.

Quite a few shares for sale at very nice rates, considering that in a few minutes or hours there will be a dividend of 0.068 BTC paid and you can sell back to goat (or others quite often) at 1 BTC... Wink

@Goat, would you be able to not only sell, but also buy back bonds on weekly basis, at a fixed price?
I think 1.00 right after the divs get paid would be a fair rate.

Or maybe, to make it simple, you could just have some 1.00 bit active for all the time being?

i have said before if someone wants to sell i will buy at 1. they just need to let me know how much and give me a reasonable amount of time to get the funds to glbse.

thanks

Can you clarify how this would work, Goat? Could we let you know that we are planning on selling X number of shares for 1.0 on Tuesday after the dividends are paid and you would buy those shares on the open market, or would we transfer X number of shares to you and you would just send us X*1.00 BTC?

yeah because these bonds pay such a crazy amount of interest the best way to do it for a large amount of bonds is to send me first then i pull from pirate and then send you directly. lowest way on fees too.
well, in such a case one question comes to my mind: do you have some bitcoin-otc rating? Wink

lol nope:)
then I think anyone would rather send your bonds to pirate and ask him to send back the money... Tongue
or maybe it's just the time to start building up the rating. Smiley

in any case I (and probably other people as well) would appreciate you taking some steps to make sure the price of the bonds never goes below 1.0

Why? There's no more risk with this than there is with the standard bond transactions. It's not like GLBSE actually holds the funds; if Goat wanted to he could keep the 30k BTC and stop paying dividends. There's not a lot that GLBSE or the bond holders could do other than bitch to Pirate or file a police report/sue him.
