and what is your idea about your zminer? open with cf, private, sell for ?? can you tell me your expectations pls?

I will wait for DJM34 to release his, and then add a few percent as usual  Cool

LBRY sp-mod private #4 is pretty good on the gtx 1060 3GB : (+24% compared to the latest opensource github version on the same clocks.)

6GB:

3GB:

sorry sp, you're always referring to a release, the N'4, that whoever paid you never received. I've kindly asked you 5 hours ago by mail if you had something new for the ''donators''. You said nothing, and now you promote another time the 4th.

Am I missing something?

I remember you that we've got the tpruvot 1.8.3 release, not the old 1.8.2, which is the equivalent of your SP3 mod.

It's pretty interesting that you keep changing rules after the donators pay you. This isn't a correct behaviour.

I also doubt that djm will release anything..he just wanted to show and makes us all feel boo-ja..suck it and cry.
Meanwhile the profit is made by him and those who have this kernel so coins are not generated equal..

@jiggytom. Default is 128..64 gives me way better results..on my 5 cards..can change on different setup sure.
I'm no getting constantly 0.0003xx-4xxx zcash per block before i made the build I just got around 0.00019 to lower 21..

He'll release it, he just takes his sweet ass time doing it, just like with his other crowdsource miners. They're basically worthless when they finally come out.
not that you care, since you never contributed to any of the crowdfunding I done

Because by the time you do it, it's worthless to mine with. Who pays money for a inferior or antiquated product?

you should at least have some respect to the ones that are creating something unique, and dj have clearly shown his capabilities. He doesen't work for free; noone should, nor anyone should request to others doing it.

It's not free dude, he's crowdsourcing it and I'll more then likely pay for it. As someone purchasing a product I can point out the faults and the time it takes to come to market, which reduces it's effectiveness everyday it takes to reach it.

like he is obligated to release it, he can simply mine for himself until this new ship sink, there is no reason for him to release anything, more profit for him

it's also a matter of how much he should be payed for releasing it, versus the diff that will increase as a result of releasing it and destroy his profit right now

Not everyone has a super huge farm dude. You can definitely make more money selling a piece of software depending on how many copies you sell and how many GPUs you own.

He's talking about crowd sourcing it because he can obviously make more money that way or maybe he doesn't want to sell to megafarms like wolf0 and feed the ASIC beast.

After claymore releases his zecminer nvidia owners have only two options left:

1) Beg for djm to release his miner no matter how much it costs.
2) Mine something else.

Well Amph you are right. As we all state earlier.
I would compare the situation with feeding my rats..they are crazy about certain things and do everything to get the food they love.

Its just a analogy:
I show them the food they like and let them spin, jump and run where i want them to be..but instead of giving them the desired food I put it away again.
This situation is similar with the screenshots he posted and make as all doing a roll, jump and cry... but keep us at the long arm for now.

Well I' really impressed with djm34 skills about algos and we can see in his miners that he is a very special one in this field of engineering - so the only thing we can do for now is hope for the best and wait and stay calm and put.

This I don't mean pejorative! Respect djm34 about his capabilities to write algos :-D

GTX 1080Ti rocks da house... seriously... this card is a beast³
Owning by now 18x GTX1080Ti :-D @serious love of efficiency

What are you even saying? You're taking bits and pieces of what I said, what he said, and deciding that I'm wrong while you're saying the same thing?

He's already made threads for crowd sourcing, as I've said, he'll more then likely do it, it's just going to take forever... He's already done this with Neoscrypt for instance and based on that is where I came up with what I said. He takes forever to release shit to make sure it's absolutely perfect and perhaps some apprehension... to the point where it's basically worthless.

I'm surprised you're a 'experienced miner' when you obviously haven't been around here that long.

IMO:
The only "fair" way of "selling" miner is Claymore's way - by dev fee.
Thus even small miners  can participate.

agree why 'more optimalization' now we have ~30s/s on n1070 - he already has ~130 - i think that it can be enouh for now..

thinking of doing a crowd funding as usual...
new current speed 133sol/sec (yeah it changes fast Smiley still highly unoptimized

Damn that is fast.. I think I need to go back to the drawing board..

Do  you have a screenshot please?

here we go... : Grin (the number of sol is consistent with what gets reported by suprnova)

Is this on le gtx 1070?

How much power is the kernel using?
yes, not a lot only 40% (it is a EVGA FTW though)

Hi DJ, do you know if the 470 gb and 480 gb will get similar results?

Thanks
470gb ? you mean gtx470 480 ?
I doubt you'll get that sort of hashrate. Currently the 980 are at 115Sol/s, but I tested a 780ti this afternoon (while the code was still running at 110sol/sec on the 1070, although at that time the 980 were running at 88sol/s) it was running at around 55sol/s. So expect even more degradation for much older card (in principle could be made compatible but I don't think it would be worthwhile, not at this stage of development).
I haven't tried yet on the 750ti
Have you tried how many sol/s can you get with gtx 970?

i think you misunderstood my reply on purpose just to start a flame, because otherwise your post look very stupid, i was talking about making a thread about this zcash miner, not about previous miner, he didn't do any for now

and i never said that you were wrong in the previous post, you really like to make shit up for no reason

I agree, most devs don't like this though... Still no reason why.

Then why are you quoting me, at the same time saying he's not interested in releasing it? I don't understand how you can't even get your thoughts straight, but still feel the need to assert yourself in a conversation.

There's no support at all for Windows or Linux.

The AMD community are alot more united, but here on NVIDIA the profit win, ever.

Don't know exatly why, but it is, sadly.

If you do the math, Nvidia are more cost-eficient mining, but the best kernels are aways private and expensive (For the small miners).

In the other side, the best AMD developers always help the community ( Like claymore now, answer a call of the comunity) will develop a Great miner with fees, that everyone can use;

Genoil is the guy too.

Until then we can mine with this slows kernels, while 3 or 4 people mine with 3X or more speed.
