A question to all the donators: have you ever received the sp mod 4 for lbry?

You get merit points when someone likes your post enough to give you some. And for every 2 merit points you receive, you can send 1 merit point to someone else!

Nope , It is not ready yet , SP_ said that we need some more time. After that Alexis nailed the miner with his tweaking the Epsylon's open source.
..And now I suppose SP_ need more time again to trike back...

I am getting average 317 on a 1070. Not using sp version either.
Ifyou don't write the power consumption, yours numbers are totaly useless...
I am getting 288 MHs on a simple kfa2 EX 1070 at 100 W (wattmeter) with ccminer 1.8.2.

Bonsoir de Paris.

@SP_ : tu es français ?

100w for 288 is impressive i'm at 120w with the same, what are your settings?
Power limit : 80 %
Temperature limit : 74°C
Core Clock : 1974 MHz (+ 153)
Memory clock : 4100 MHz (+298)
1012 mv
68/69 °C

I think I can increase the memory clock, but not sure it'll be increase the hashrate.

that's strange i have 70% power limit and -502 memory and i'm consuming more than you, are you sure about your consumption seems too low to me

most cards are different about that, especially pascal ones which have crazy differences

The comparisons should be done with the same platforms, watt-meters and testing methodology.

Be cautious with the ram, gddr5 aren't so sturdy as you may think.

About pascal variations, I can confirm it; in a single platform with the same models of vga's, they can behave differently in frequency and avg hashrates - especially up to 5/6 VGA in a single platform.
Such variations could lead to hard resets due system instability, with different algos. Lbry it seems much more tolerant than many others, especially with high frequencies. Probably it could be due a lower RAM usage

Yeah, you're not going to get a exact same comparison between chips and power numbers. Some people just win the silicon lottery. You can have the exact same card as someone else and the power consumption can be different.

Chips aren't all the same. When they come out of the foundries they'll require a different amount of voltage due to defects in the process itself.

While you can't compare power consumption between different cards, you can compare frequency. Which is why you ask what frequency someone is running at. You  wont be able to reduce your power consumption without reducing frequency as well all else being equal.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

yep, also, i remember two MSI 960 Gaming (one is still running since i own it) with the same bios and different hash rates / oc ability.. (the slower one was resold)

but i was talking about the different brands/models Wink

Yes, sure : wattmeter measurement.

My config :
 only 1 GPU (GTX 1070)
 2 DDR3 RAM (4 + 2 GO, not "L")
 HDD 3,5" (Windows 10)
CPU "T" (who is mining on 2 cores with a CPU miner)
 1 ventilateur 120 mm
 Power unit : 600 W 80+ bronze
Total consumption : 134/140 W.

mmh i think it has to do with the pcb of the kfa2 which is smaller than the g1 gaming, and has 1 less fan

It cannot be true, gtx1070 + cpu under load. Check your wattmeter

The latest published work from Alexis is what got recently merged in Tpruvot's fork, I don't think Alexis has a thread or dedicated repo at this point, at least not specifically for his LBRY contributions. Source and Bins @ https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases

Merging code changes and such is all fine, but merging people might not be to everyone's taste  Grin
Both have collaborated on LBRY AFAIK, no clue about other algorithms.

he does have his own repo - but does not have it updated to the latest ...

besides - all his work will be published in ccminer-tpruvot18x soon anyway ...
