Yeah - just confirmed on my three rigs I cannot run Whirlpoolx for some reason.  It starts to mine - even shows up on Suprnova and then the driver crashes.  Each rig - weird.  Any help or ideas?

thanks - pokeytex

edit: Am running Windows 8.1 pro on all machines - ?  maybe OS limitation?

edit2: Am compiling Trupvot's 1.5.3 version to try it out now.

I have a mixed rig also and on some algos I have to put the same cards on it's own bat. Try running them that way and see what it does.

EDIT: This is a another option but PITA. Run one card at a time and see if it crashes. I just went through some bad risers causing crashes.

Hrmm that would make sense to me however (2) of the rigs are only 750ti's.  Regarding the risers wouldn't the other algos crash if the risers were bad?

The miner kept crashing so I put each card on it's own bat and the same card kept crashing. I kept switching cards to make sure the card was good and every card I put on the riser crashed. I had ordered some (even some new ones was bad) but now I have just about everything back to normal.

So try and run each card on it's own bat and see if the same one keeps crashing.

Easiest way I found was individual bats.

Ok will try that now - what os are you/were you running?

Windows 7 64bit

Also, your PSU is strong enough, correct?

EDIT Windows 10 on one.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

Ok -  Grin - Individual bats worked perfect.  Whirlpoolx doesn't seem to like grouping GPU's under Windows 8.1 64bit?  Individually they all work fine.  Lags my machine pretty good.  I guess I will stick with Quark for now even though it appears to be dropping off the face of the earth.  Any new algo's anyone checking out?

EDIT: Last tip that might help. If you are not gaming and have on board graphics and using one monitor use the on board.  If you surf and do other things then don't mine on gpu 0 until you are done (if multi monitor setup) or mine a less intensive algo while multi tasking on that card.

Also depends on which gpu you're trying to enable.
If first gpu then -d 0
If second gpu then -d 1 ..... and so on...

Anyone know if there is a new miner or private miner out right now? All the algos are taking a crap right now.

Anyone have any idea? All the algos are continuing to take a poop.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

Thanks, I'm trying it now but it's difficult to measure the hashrate difference because of the fan speed triggered throttling.

Apparently SAK is taking a dump right now and it's effecting all the other algos as people are offloading to them.

Another yaampclone has added sharkcoin:

http://ffpool.net/

9GHASH hasrate of quark so far. (a payout of 0.4046btc/GHASH the last 24hours)

Nicehash/westhash are only paying 0.25BTC/GHASH and the net hashrate is

XMR (monero is actually the #14 largest altcoin on the cryptocoin chart. I think I will add my modded for free to ccminer sp-mod. Please donate some beers, I need some fuel for the weekend Wink

While the quark clondike seems to pass, we need some new algos to play with.

I see that ffpool payout for quark has dropped to 0.2555 ...pretty much inline with nicehash/westhash now.

It seems like west/nice have always really closely mirrored SAK profits to the point where it's not even worth joining a pool to mine it. I'm guessing the pool just having great profits for 24 was just pool luck.

Didn't know ffpool existed. Hashpower.co has relatively few people on it. It seems as though the Neoscrypt bot net moved over there though. 2500 CPU miners on neo...
