Thank you sp
I think once you start your builds on the 980ti the performance will go way up....and so do the donations.  Wink

I think the 980ti card is to expensive for me to buy. Please ask NVIDIA to send me a card for free  Grin Cool

And continue to donate some beers. Smiley
A few bucks is bether than nothing..
How about a donation address for a 980ti for you sp?

When I started last year the gtx 980 was doing less than 6 MHASH @x11 ccminer djm version. Without my code the gtx980 was slower than the AMD 290x. (6.2MHASH).

Now in May 2015 we are mining x11 at 10-11MHASH. quark at 20MHASH etc etc.. I haven't done all the optimalizations myself, but most of them are mine.

So keep sending some beers guys. Without development the private mining will die slowiy and private kernals will take over..

I have two opensource miners/kernels and have received not even "a low end card" :-D

I'm with you Sir: people please support opensource miners for the benefit of all.
No good opensource miners means no way for the common people to mine. Only for a bunch of big farms.

Nicehash has an impressive 57.4543 GH/s hashrate on quark. This around 28 000 r9 280 gpus mining with the opensource kernal. or around 10 000 750ti's using sp-mod release 51.

This makes it a total of 100 800 000W per day (if mined with the AMD radeon r9 280x)

The point is that the altcoin marked generates around 100 Million dollar per year in revenue for the miners, and there are players who are willing to take the risk and invest.. Some of them will get very rich...

not sure if wrong place to ask but..
i had radeon 280x hynix, fast one mining x11 at 1250mhz clocks
it got broken and they are now offering me nvidia 900 series card.
question is which model i should prefer? 960, 970 or even 980?
rules are simple, card should be faster than my older 280x, not equal speed.
mining algos is what matters, not gaming

quark at default clocks:

gtx 960: 9.5MHASH 120W
gtx 970: 16MHASH  160W
gtx 980: 19MHASH  180W

280x quark using the opensource miner

1,75 MHASH 150W

280x using the closed source russian miner:

11MHASH 300W

Amd not so bad too, 280X 13MHASH 200W (FROM WALL) (1.100v) but still nvidia better...

So keep sending some beers guys. Without development the private mining will die slowiy and private kernals will take over..

Just sent you one : f848807d9b24ae08b4f568beb102aca00d9c0bc9a897e3c34784da7595d9be2b
I try to give you one day's worth of mining every two weeks, that's about 7% of what I earn.
Keep improving the miner if you want my rig - and your cut - to grow  Tongue

If I ever finish my controller program, it will be automated. But I am particularly lazy these days... So, manual donation it is.

I will vouch for this. This single handedly brought down my AMD mining operation around me and I didn't even know it was happening because the private kernels were being kept on the hush-hush. There wasn't even a opportunity to 'buy' the said miners as they weren't being talked about or prices were being posted anywhere. I should've sold my cards the moment I saw what was happening and went with Nvidia, but missed that window. The shit part wasn't that it was private, it was that you couldn't buy it or even knew it existed.

Crowdsourced developer on staff definitely helps with this. The Maxwell hardware doesn't hurt things either.

This aside, everyone still mining Quark? Still seems the most-profitable, followed by Neoscrypt.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

Hi, on my 4 GTX 750 Ti rig (Ubuntu 64), commit 420febd33 reports a little less: 22860 kH/s on quark, compared to the 23000 kH/s of 1.5.51
That's a very small difference, about 25kH less per 750Ti, but it is measurable.

Yes, but it will show higher rates on the pool. I need to test some more.
