There seems to be something wrong with checkpoints.cpp in the source code which was updated a few days ago.

I was getting this error:

Code:
checkpoints.cpp:58:97: error: ‘unit256’ was not declared in this scope
         (  1121000, unit256("0x000000012b18631c9d5d90e3c5a32655f63ae1100ff8cafbde184521deba0960"))
                                                                                                 ^
checkpoints.cpp:59:97: error: ‘unit256’ was not declared in this scope
         (  1135050, unit256("0x000000014d3dfb1e1a6cfa86d00baf64acd273da8536badc9aaf4f090a9b77af"))
                                                                                                 ^
makefile.unix:179: recipe for target 'obj/checkpoints.o' failed
make: *** [obj/checkpoints.o] Error 1

I had to remove those two checkpoints to be able to compile.

Thanks ethought, that's a clumsy old bugger's typo, twice  Embarrassed

That should of course read: "uint256" and definitely not "unit256".

Please accept my most humble apologies.

the idea of glad, with few reasons to not allow creating on-line wallet, and availability without waiting for synchronization and thus the availability of many alt coins in your pocket

Hey guys. I recently found and bought this new cannabis coin called floz in an ico on ccex. Since then I've been wanting to pick up a few more weed coins to add to the stash.
Because I'm so late to this party I was hoping maybe one of you can fill me in on the life of cann up till now so I can have a better picture before investing.
With floz it was easy because it was new, but you are old and its too much to have to read 100+ pages.
Thank you in advance.

I'd say hold a bit of each weed coin but I hope CANN will start focusing on the recreational market as the medicinal market was just a stepping stone to the road of legal marijuana. With it becoming legal, there will be no need for the medicinal side anymore.
Well, maybe there will be but it will be tiny compared to the recreational markets.

First of all Happy New Years everyone!

I am back working on my faucets, but I am having trouble compiling the unix wallet.  I cloned the source from https://github.com/cannabiscoindev/cannabiscoin420

and ran

Code:
make -f makefile.unix

This is the last error it gave.

Code:
checkpoints.cpp:58:97: error: âunit256â was not declared in this scope
         (  1121000, unit256("0x000000012b18631c9d5d90e3c5a32655f63ae1100ff8cafbde184521deba0960"))

Just need to wait for the wallet to sync now, then I'll test it out.

Why do you think that? There is a lot of competition out there and the new weed coin has been killing it.

Lmao please stop the pathetic shilling promo of the latest weed coin.  Yes one or more groups or whales are in it (prob created that crap)  and it's seeing the usual fake volume and manipulation of most vaporware coins. Not to mention a no name Dev who hides and deletes posts. Cann is dead in the water and will not recover, ppl don't need another shitcoin to lose btc in.

i can't speak for him but you don't know me so i suggest you stfu about me.  excuse me for trying to make alts a LITTLE bit better by weeding out all the bullshit scam dev/coins (because most of them are) and trying to point ppl in the right direction, but again ppl will do what they bloody want anyway so it doesn't really matter.  i'd expect better from someone with your kinda post count.  800+ and you're still useless.

floz is a turd made by a no-name dev.  at least with CANN you have (had?) something with real potential, maryJ too.  i've given up on cann for the most part so i've made my choice...hopefully i dont miss out but oh well.  i've contacted devs to get onto 1ex.trade so i'm doing my part to help them and traders spread alts...what are you doing?
