Hey guys, I have a factom deposit issue with Poloniex right now and would appreciate some advice.
My transaction has 1 of 3 confirmations but it's been pending for 36 hours now. Anyone else have something similar to this? What's strange is that it shows up on the correct Polo deposit address on the blockchain but half of my deposit was instantly withdrawn by Polo and sent to another factom address that I don't own and the other half was sent to another address by Polo which I also don't own, why is this? And my pending deposit transaction shows a different deposit address from my own, wtf?
Will it take care of itself eventually? I have already filed a support ticket with polo, just waiting patiently. I am a big time investor, not quite a whale but I hope this gets resolved in a timely manner otherwise this is going to leave a bad taste in my mouth and is not good publicity for the Factom Foundation.

The fact your Factom s sent to another address is probably cause they send it to some kind of their Factom own wallet where they keep funds, not a big deal, Golem doposits act the same. Regarding deposits confirmation, I d contact them via support. Polo s been a bit slow these days so be patient.

!!!New OTC exchange for blocked-on-exchanges currencies!!!
I am pleased to announce that I'm starting a new OTC exchange project for blocked-on-exchanges currencies all over the world. This is a P2P centralized space where holders of different blocked-on-exchange currencies come together to trade for USD or against each other.
My inspiration comes from hearing about the banned currencies based on cryptonote protocol, which were deemed to be untradable by several leading exchange platforms. I came up with the idea to create a OTC lifeline for these blocked-on-exchange currencies. And now I invite everyone who needs to change and transfer their blocked-on-exchange coin to try my service!
Guarantee: I will act as the sole middleman holding all incoming deals, which will be verified from the both sides via email and skype. The transaction is 100% secure and does not require an ID. If you don't feel comfortable exchanging through me, we can use any other trustworthy party from trusted bitcointalk member who will take part in the entire process. Terms of Exchange: Minimum transaction amount - $500 Fee - 1% from the deal
Write me to know more!

What is the best wallet to store factom?
I tried their enterprise wallet, but it is complex to use and I never got it working right. It is suppose to make it to the exodus wallet and some point. As of now I hear the paper wallet is the simplest wallet.

How is that complex or different from any other wallet?

Actually Crazyivan with the legendary status ...moving from only using exchanges to figuring out wallets for the first time can be a bit confusing for some of us. I am new to all of this and am in the process of learning about wallets. I too have found this to be intimidating at times. What is extremely simple for the seasoned is brand new to others.

There is pretty easy, step by step guide for Enterprise wallet https://docs.factom.com/#run-enterprise-wallet Stick wit the "Running Enterprise Wallet Online" option. In this case you don't have to download the blockchain.

Sorry bud, it was not my intention to insult you in any way. Let us know what exactly is a problem for you and I ll try to help you out. For now, you need to go the this link https://docs.factom.com/#run-enterprise-wallet-locally and read how to install enterprise wallet. Then go here, https://github.com/FactomProject/distribution find a download link for Enterprise wallet for Windows 64 or Mac, depending what you use, download it and install it. It s an .exe file. Once you do, I suggest you use cloud node, on that first link there is subtitle "run enterprise wallet online" follow that one to synchronise your wallet to a 100%. There is another option to download Factom chain but it s more complicated so go with the simple option. Once you do that and your wallet syncs to 100%, you re done. All you need to do is to send your tokens to the wallet. Hope this helps.

Both wallets give the option to encrypt the wallet? Many thanks for your help. I am newbie and a bit lost with all this. I just want to keep my coins safe out of Poloniex and Bittrex. Thanks

Thanks There s no online wallet, both wallets can be used as cold storage. This online option is only for not downloading the entire blockchain, you use cloud stored one. Other then that, both versions re the same. None of them let s you encrypt the wallet. This is why I suggest using cold storage only, an offline machine or paperwallet.

What you mean? There's plenty real use cases and companies that are working with Factom. Two examples: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and The Bill and Melissa Gates Foundation. I believe there are more, just check their website and blog.
