I think we might hear an official news of some government organization using this. It's​ time now, if this happens it will reach 10x to 15x within a short span.

It would be nice to get some more official news statements. Most of the news seems to be posted by third parties. I imagine it could give Factom a nice boost.

I think it's not about gaining attention for Factom. The dev team don't care how high its value shoot's in the short term. It seem like running for a marathon and focusing on long term goals. They don't care about these spikes in trading market. They are doing the real work and concentrating on making it better. It will rise leaving most of other coins behind. Wait and HOLD.

EC burns factom. The higher the FCT price is the lower the number of FCT burned, the lower FCT price the higher the number of FCT burned is. Over 73k FCT burned per month and you have deflation, under and you have inflation. The FCT price should be driven somewhat by what is to come and what's in the pipeline in the future even tough EC's price is fixed.

Usage will undoubtedly be the main yardstick to measure FCT’s success. The base price of FCT will be directly proportionate to its usage, meaning that the price can’t fall below this point without reducing the available FCT supply, ultimately, to 0. More about this is here:

So usage provides a “base price” for FCT, below which it can’t drop without exhausting the available supply. Though early-market "startups" like Factom often go magnitudes higher depending on market sentiment and expectations for growth. Even mature companies often reach magnitudes of value above their early earnings, for instance Amazon=847x, Netflix=282x, etc. And these are mature companies, with much more limited growth potential.

Things re obviously moving forward and the price reflects this.

Hahahaa, you are funny. You need to read the specs. EC are not tied to coins directly, rather it is mapped to $$ and accordingly FCT can be converted to corresponding value at that moment.
It's already 5$ higher overnight. So just have patience to see it rise high beyond the sky. Just a free suggestion.

Yep, same here. Factom is so ridiculously undervalued right now. Imo it belongs right there with bitcoin, ethereum and ripple. No way I'm selling yet.
