what ports are recommended for a Antminer S5 And an S3 ?
Also what DIFF level is the best to use I have a Verizon FIOS  100/100 Mbps connection so I am not worried about connection speed.

I have been a supporter of this pool for a while now, but I have moved my miners and will be mining elsewhere. Not saying I will not come back at sometime later but the pool is not doing what it said it wanted to do from the start as far as "not wanting to be a bank" and not hold on to my coins. I don't think its fair for the miners to be waiting for blocks to confirm before they get paid or waiting for the pool to find a block before they can get paid, that is not how the pool was to be run. I know the pool had problems with coins getting stole but enough time has passed that this should have had something done to fix it. I also don't like the way my miners show such a low hash rate here compared to other pools. I am not trying to stir anything up just felt I needed to explain why I have moved my miners. I will now wait for my next payment. I wish the pool and miners here the best of luck.

I just moved mine too... My hashrate also appears a lot lower on this pool than others. Does not seem the "#1 Bitcoin mining pool in the world" to me...  Undecided

You will get a more accurate reading on the payout history page, as the averages move to fast on the main page, the main page is always off,, kinda sucks but if you look at your payout history you'll see your averages are correct.

Also they just made it to where you can manually set your worker difficulty,, which helps,, or at least helps with my OCD.

                username.workername##512 for s3
                                               ##1024 for S5
                                               ##1792 for SP20
                                               ##2048 for S4
                                               ##4608 for SP30
                                               ##4864 for SP31
                                               ##5376 for Sp35

By doing this I can see that my worker difficulty is locked in on the minerside,,, when I look at the dashboard however it still shows the diff as being off, however that doesnt really matter as You can see whats
really going on in your miners dashboard.

I would like the BAN Dashboard to be more accurate,, but It not a dealbreaker,, I hope they work on accuracy in the future,, I will continue to support them.
Its nice being able to chat with the staff on the pools IRC,, s0br seems like a good dude. ICYPPS,, they have been helpful and have always addressed my concerns.

Try these they bring my hash rate up or if not just go up or down and watch how much your share amount jumps up !

     S5 = 3072
     S3 = 1024

go up or down in intervals 256 512 1024 2048 you get the idea.

Another block found and no payout again I think this guy IS A BIG TIME SCAMMER!!!!!

The block takes a few hours to clear.

https://blockchain.info/address/39fPq9PpVs3c16SfbmQPCE4tqquzHBw9pk

only has 9 confirms.

  this is not complex if the  pool runner has had 100 coins stolen we are going to be paid late time and time again. In order to have this not happen the pool runner needs funding or the pool needs a monster hot streak.  By that 5 blocks under 70%  and then 5 more under 90%.  This would put the pool ahead in the payment game.

I am going to give him more time as he has been around a while and does make the payments in full.

You can do what you like, but 3072 is 3 times the share difficulty that would be in my opinion proper for a 1 terahash miner
and 1024 is double the share difficulty that should be used for a 500ghs miner.
But thats just my 2 bits.

Exactly 2 bits did you try it before you knock it or you just read it some place ?

also I like to know exactly how you arrived at this ingenious formula oh let me guess you read that to.

Those are general settings and I Doubt they can ever be proven do to so many changing parameters. Next time try it before you knock it.

Not even then genius. Parameters change every day like internet traffic for one. and I am not going to bother to tell you the rest. I am a disabled engineer I use to do these things in the lab four 8 hours a day. Just talk and prove concepts. Using Math but the lab is what proved our formulas. Like I said its to many constantly changing Parameters to get a target diff value that's stable and that works 24/7 its just not going to happen genius!!!!

you remind me when I asked a student  what was one divided by zero and he told me zero when the answer is infinity then when I told him the correct answer he still argued with me.

If you still want to disagree be my guest I got better things to do.

     S5 = 3072
     S3 = 1024

go up or down in intervals 256 512 1024 2048 you get the idea.

Do as you like. Time will answer your statement.

If you still want to disagree be my guest I got better things to do.

Cool. Like I said, Do as you like, In a few days you will know what works best for you.

you would have to change the value everyday or every hour to get a good value. like I said, its impossible to get a good value. They should make a sub-routine "Command" in CGMINER that adjust the DIFF value automatically depending on conditions. That would be great.
