bitcoin: too big to fail?  Cool

BEWARE of BETCOIN
They are advertising lots around here. Their software freezes on a regular basis and they will not honor any refunds for when the tournaments invariably crash during play. Not a trustworthy place to play poker.

Nothing wrong with bitcoin. Its the shitty centralized exchanges. And the fact they are run by clowns.  They need to be burned with fire.

Yeah you can bet exchanges on Wall street are under non-stop attack and yet they run fine.  This isn't magic, I do hosting for a living and we have data centers all over the world.  One on wall street just for zero latency.  These guys are pathetic.  Angry

Right now Mt. Gox is down so there are no charts unless you go to btc-e.com or another exchange.

charts?  I'm using chicken entrails here

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.
