The days of "fun" maybe not over yet. Over the last 1.5 hours, more than 15K BTC of ammunition is spent on fighting over a small piece of turf around $26.

I bought bitcoins about year ago at $6. Now they are worth 4x more. How much more are worth your "real" money?

Everyone's selling BTC for real money and I'm just sitting here with BTC using it more efficiently, profitably, and more fun than real money Sad

overall the mining gear i bought is approaching having paid for itself about 5 times now. so that is 1 more time then your
investment.

heh. i am just having some fun here.
i am happy for everyone here who has made money in USD or on paper (btc holders).
it is good times for everyone right now. mining btc and selling... or holding btc for profit... is just two
different mindsets and goals.

in the end tho.... someone has to lose money. i wonder how it will play out.

I wouldn't even call the USD money any more to be honest.

What we're really talking about is people losing wealth. And those are going to be the holders of paper currencies.

I have about 5 cents of USD...

and just because their is money in my bank account doesn't make me long on fiat.... all it means is the mortgage & visa bill hasn't passed yet...
