Now they are blaming the downtime on their internet presence provider, Rackspace. Josh cannot take blame for anything.

Not that I'm defending Josh, but it appears that Rackspace is having an issue. Is this the real issue that's preventing them from getting ZenCloud back online? I can't speculate. https://status.rackspace.comRackspace Cloud Engineers have identified an issue which is causing intermittent 500 error code messages when our customers are attempting image centric calls from the Mycloud portal or the Next Gen Cloud Servers API. This issue is presented in all our Next Gen Cloud Servers regions (HKG, SYD, LON, IAD, DFW and ORD).

"We are so great we crashed Rackspace" tweet coming soon (TM). Hopefully they'll adjust their upgrade schedules because we are almost halfway through the 48 hour window. I only have three Primes to sacrifice on stakes, but I think users with hundreds of them will need some time as ZenCloud UI tends to be very click-intensive.

Every issue they have is blamed on someone or something else. This guy is really a joke when it comes to management skills. He has not learned that people can read right through the BS. Take ownership and get it resolved.

No more downvotes. That explains it.
Was wondering why the OP was still around.
Not only this, but look, someone disagreeing with the OP got banned @Aussie-Hasher said: @RaymondMiner yaaaaawwnnnn ... your a ______ Banned for Profanity. Odd things happening on HT. Hi, The OP had a very valid concern that they brought up, so I felt that it was fine to let the topic continue (I didnt lock it the first time), however, when someone calls someone else a w*nker, I banned, its one of the few rules that I actually enforce (and I rarely ban people, only four in my entire time being a moderator), I would prefer a free and open dialog between people, but we do have people that are younger reading the forum. Feel free to flame me or anything, I really dont mind - thats your personal right and I wont take that away from you. Animo

I didn't see the "bad word", so it looked unusual.

Hashtag is a bad word now? Well, in the context of this thread I guess it could be.

preventing people from using abusive or offensive language on a forum has nothing to do with protecting youth, especially if the rules clearly state that you should use clean language.
AnimoEsto has always been one of the fairest mods on HT, so give him a break.

Guys "somethng bad happened" totally "out of control" so what we propose to do is, swap whatever balances of BTC you had for big bags of playcoins. Does this make sense? So so if you had 1 BTC in your account and can prove it to us, we will give you a gazillion playcoins. Does that sound fair?
Obviously the bloodhounds are on the trail and the conversion is not going quick enough to escape the long arm of the law. Just delete the drives and claim force majure and givem them big bags of candy and playcoins and everything will be back to normal.

https://hashtalk.org/topic/21805UPDATE: 15:11 Eastern
We've made the decision to revert the current update in order to return to a state of ideal operation. We will continue working these issues in our development environment. We are working on this now and will update you once complete. Well, finally a sensible decision. We've seen too many times them trying to force the buggy code into production.
