Ponzi's are fine as long as you get in and out at the right time like any other investment.
No, ponzi's rely on affiliate referrals: (b) Prosecution of persons who aid and abet violations For purposes of any action brought by the Commission under subparagraph (b) or (d) of section 77t of this title, any person that knowingly or recklessly provides substantial assistance to another person in violation of a provision of this subchapter, or of any rule or regulation issued under this subchapter, shall be deemed to be in violation of such provision to the same extent as the person to whom such assistance is provided. http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/15/77o

I'm defaulting to the fact that I can literally visit one BTC faucet and profit more than a month of running 1mh/s of 80% of GAW's Hashlets which I would have to buy.
I'm afraid there isn't any cure for you if you really are that dense. I'm well past breakeven at GAW and I have tons of hashlets I could easily sell for a lot of BTC. Not only that I'm going to have plenty of paycoin I will be able to sell. If you are trying to make money your way at GAW you are just being stupid. If you want to make BTC you have to play the game GAW's way. Which is all in based on no solid investment information which continuously changes, If Paycoin flops none of your Hashlets will be worth anything once converted, safest route is dump a lot keep a few and if the coin works you will get your return from the points. Going all in based on Paycoin is not good investment strategy its greed.

If Gaw are a ponzi and your above info is true then pretty much all crypto news sites are in trouble, lol

Let me just mention that everybody was extremely happy with MtGox's market rigging before their collapse

There are actually a lot of digital referral programs though which are legit. So they're technically not in any violation because they only request someone buy 1 Hashlet to complete referral

It all depends on what additional violation items can be added to build an overall case, but if you look in the thread on this site where GAW/Zen are paying people $$ every month to grab new suckers via their sigs, that would apply to this FL statute for those within that state. The key is to get a federal statue to stick and then join individual states violations to ride on that coattail. Scott-

Interestingly if you go to https://btc.com/ (HTTPS version) they have an affiliate script installed, not sure where they are going with that, seems strange they have it installed in the root of a 1.1 Million domain. Even if the price is proven correct, by his own email admission, Mr. Garza only paid quarter of that upfront and a significant portion was in BTC, with additional monthly payments of less than $40K/ea being applied towards the balance and some of that can also be paid in BTC. In other words, smoke and mirrors where a gazillion dollar company must negotiate a monthly payment plan for a $1M domain. Another line item that may make you go...hmmm.... Scott-
