@huey: Simply Unacceptable. From day one, I have tried my best to do what I thought was the right thing for Paycoin and the Paycoin community. Almost everyday I have people contact me to tell me their stories about how they lost tens of thousands of dollars if not hundreds of thousands due to the actions of one man. How he told them to hold on.. “its coming soon”.. “we are going to fix this”… “don’t sell”.. “I stand by my promises”. I personally believed these lies for far too long, a lot of us did. I want to take a moment and apologize to anyone who held on longer due to my post about how i still believed. At that time I did still believe. But if it isn't clear to you now, this entire thing was falsely propped up in every way. In short nothing was what they made it seem. The world class dev teams, the 100 million dollar fiat backing, the world’s fastest growing mining operation. Now it is very clear all of that was simply a lie. Fast forward to today. We have watched yet another ownership dispute unfold, this time between Mr Garza and Mr Vadala. We planned on hosting a live Q&A to help clarify our stance on the current state of Paycoin and allow Phil to take questions. During the day today Mr Garza stated that he was willing to get on a call with Phil and a neutral moderator. He stated that the chat had to meet certain stipulations that he set. (you can read them here http://imgur.com/I1wkQAO) Because of these stipulations Mr Garza is not going to be invited to this live call this evening. For two reasons. Given his history with not facing the truth, the only way I would allow this is if any and all questions could be brought up and answered in the open. Secondly, something even more concerning was shared with me this evening. I have been given evidence that clearly proves Mr Garza’s incredible disregard for professionalism and human decency. Shown below are personal chat logs between Mr Garza and Phil Vadala through the messenger app Telegram. Under normal circumstances I would not post this, but due to the reality of the situation I felt it necessary to provide evidence of the threats. I can also verify this is indeed Mr Garza’s cell number on Telegram. http://imgur.com/so21FT0http://imgur.com/AtA0Iychttp://imgur.com/IJbTlSGhttp://imgur.com/q5wwTBChttp://imgur.com/VWOI8pFhttp://imgur.com/jkEVJK9This is simple. I do not care who you are or what you think someone has done to you. If threatening a person’s family members is the action you take It proves you no longer should be communicated with in any fashion. We have contacted the appropriate authorities. For all of these reasons we have decided to advise the entire community to disassociate themselves from Josh Garza and any business dealings that he participates in. As for Paycoin, we are moving forward. These sad facts have not changed our resolve. We are going to continue to fight for the Paycoin community and do our best to make XPY everything we thought it was going to be. Join the Revolution TeamPaycoin!

wow, does that read like garza fantasy land or what... Garza steals 3 million+ USD from them and they were going to be happy with a couple million paycoins and controllers? Talk about complete bull shit! And, given that I think we have a trade embargo going on with Russia... I'm guessing that SEC FiCEN will love those statements... almost a million dollars invested by a russian citizen, where's his KYC submission on that one?

I love how he called BS right away. It's 50K. Who's going to do anything overseas for 50K? They might shakedown Garza for a million, but 50K is like the cost of a latte in Australia.

https://hashtalk.ch/topic/37443/the-other-investorshttps://archive.is/63aKKThe Other investors For full transparency. I wanted to show the last conversation between Phil and I on this matter. Once I found out his intentions of stealing the coins, I started getting threats from some of the investors of the coins holders. Some were direct, some were anonymous. I was getting threatening phone calls, emails, pictures sent of my kids, and death threats. I sat down with one the investors that I know very well and explained what happened. I provided full documentation of Phil and I conversation and explained I did the best I could with the coins and why I trusted Phil. Once they heard this, I was told that most believed me and did not blame me for the coins being taken and held Phil responsible. I still occasionally get a threat, but they are now mostly focused on Phil. They want their money back. Plain and simple. I admit, I had some fear in this whole thing. Here is an example of a letter I got the other day: http://0bin.net/paste/cDqJZz-YsCWB39tx#HGkc016sT3PNgBnfx1TE0fQM7hoTCaZVw+gXBaY+3pMYou'll note that Garza chose to submit text vs screenshots.

less than 1h50mins till Phils Q&A everybody!
I'll be recording this shitshow, in case they don't post this one to Youtube. I didn't think that was optional with hangouts on air. It is. I've had difficulty recording phone calls via Hangouts, and that's the way I've determined is best to do it. You can make it so that only people with the link have the recording, and then not share the link.

Garza's sending himself emails threatening his daughter? He sends emails "threatening" someone's mom in the lamest way possible (e.g. no details).
This guy has lost his mind. He thinks this is, what, going to get him mineral.com? The scammer can't deal with being scammed, so he lashes out with crazy fantasy.

I disagree. Anarchy is Live and Let Live. Communism is WE think X therefore WE will FORCE YOU to do Y. In this case Y=YOU will lose your property. You strike me as an intelligent fellow, SM. Reading up on Anarchism and the other Isms would serve you well.
But isn't a fork a perfect example of "live and let live"? It doesn't take your property away. You can still trade with those who agree to trade with you (i.e. are on the same fork). Not finding someone to trade with is not Communism, it just means no one wants to trade with you. XPY's "voting" system is of course rubbish, it is about as anti-crypto as the rest of it, hyperinflation, pre-mine, etc. Intelligent, LOL. Nobody ever accused me of that No. What you are describing deprives someone of the value of his property (if not the actual property). This is completely against the ideals of Anarchy. Again, I suggest reading on the subject. There's no law/fundumental that says people cannot affect the value of another persons property. That's just part of the free market. If you piss off a community so much that they create a hard fork removing your coins from their blockchain, you deserve a worthless stash of premine. To put it simply: Destroying all GAW/"non-profits" owned coins = bad. Creating a new coin/fork that exchanges all xpy to xpy2 (besides xpy owned by GAW/"non-profits") = not bad.

I am merely defending logic. P.S: If you honestly believe "There's no law/fundumental that says people cannot affect the value of another persons property. That's just part of the free market. " , then you are living in a fantasy world.

You guys really need to stop talking about the fork/destroying coins/whatever.
Not that this shitshow has a chance of working anyway, but a group of people being able to delete someone else's coins makes the whole thing worthless. You do that and no one with a brain will touch the coin with a 10 foot pole. I mean, the coin has got to where it is today entirely on the back of brainless people, but if there is a way to actual make this work you are going to need people with brains coming up with a reason for people to have/use the coin.
This coin is a dead duck because they only reason this coin has ANY value is because of promises from Josh/GAW that have turned out to be false. If you are going to "start over" without Josh/GAW you are going to be starting from scratch (and you probably should start from scratch because so many scumbags have enough coins to fuck you over if you try and "fix" xpy.
If you do a fork though, no one will invest/participate because of the fear/realization that you may be able to do another one to fuck them over in the future.

Quick count the number of times they say the word Josh on a hangouts call about PayCoin.
You will notice Paul Reveres statements starting to hold weight.

He needs the hyperstakers. That's his $500 or so per day, likely his only hope of income. Even if the next fork removes the 100% staking he could still dump the coins. Funny thing is - he can't "manage" it himself. So even if he got it back he would have to find someone shady enough to do it for him and would likely get screwed again. Tough.

Not a week goes by without some interesting drama. IMO the entertainment value provided by this whole debacle has far surpassed xpy's market cap. I commend philanthropist Phil for standing up to Garza, however it does look like he stole the coins and is now extorting him. Not the brightest idea to extort a serial extortionist (who is known to spend large sums of money on his extorting) who has your name/address/etc IMO.
