The fact the pump can be used to dump by Homero which is probably the plan.

Yeah dumping after pumping would also make it market manipulation
How is that illegal in this case?

So you think pump and dump is quite legal?

Wow you would fit in great with a boileroom operation defrauding people

please point us towards the bill of rights which makes the act illegal.

I assumed even America had more than one piece of legislation on the books.  What does your congress do?

P.S  i dont study American law being Australian and all.

fuckt if i know i'm Scottish  Cheesy

These aren't securities. FINRA has no purview here. The morality is questionable, but I fail to see how it's illegal.

Silly question but if you actually had the finances to do this with gold or oil would it be illegal?  Thats not a security either but im certain it would get you in serious trouble.

So they managed to move it from ~$10 to $15. Without actually having to use the wall, it still seems to be sitting at $10. Legal or not, it's STILL based on a word. Fascinating.

Just had an e-mail from gaw telling me to get all my friends and family to buy paycoin 'before the floor is reached' and giving me the URL's of 2 exchanges.
Might not be illegal but it's certainly offensive.

Josh is no bank and doesnt own the entire government so im sure he would get treated a bit harsher than a bank who had to pay a petty fine that probably didnt approach what they made from these actions and probably somehow got routed from taxpayer funds rather than the banks actual money

Only if you did it through futures, which is what people have done with the silver and copper markets in the past. If you're dealing in physical gold or physical oil, not futures contracts or ETF shares, I don't believe there's anything illegal about it.

It's not a silly question, BTW.

I have been day-trading since 1997 ...and can tell you that THIS is absolutely NOT-LEGAL...!!!

Call it "insider trading" ..."market manipulation" ...whatever you want ...but is ILLEGAL ... Wink

Just time to call authorities, Scott... Grin

ZiG

Is a stock buyback not legal? There's nothing "insider" about this. This $20 floor has been stated over and over and over again. They were very transparent about this. What's illegal about it?

There is a BIG difference between a "STOCK" and Paycoin...capisco...  Wink

Could you prove that Paycoin is a "Stock"... Huh Huh Huh

Is that supplying investment advice without the correct licences?  it would be in Australia without some very big disclaimers

So ZIG, can we see the proof of your formal legal training and expertise of US law, since your saying things are illegal?   I just want to know that your a legitimate source for making such statements instead of well, maybe talking out your ass. =)

I know nothing about Brazilian law.  i doubt it has much in common with Australian law.  At least with American law the whole former English colony thing means our laws are reasonably similar in many things especially common law.

Edit:I believe the IRS classes crypto currency as a good rather than a currency?  But they class it as a currency of sort for money laundering? Im not sure how carries over into other areas of law.

What i do know is this is really really pushing your luck.  He may be a case of precedent for quoting when this is over.  He seems to be downright asking to be made an example of

No, unless you pay him for the advice. Anyone can give anyone else any free investment advice that he wants.

It's pretty sketchy, though.

Quite easy when the volume is so thin and they are sitting on stockpiles of BTC.
All they need is to pump it up on low volumes, maintain for some time, wait for buy wells to go up and then sell at a profit.
