Satoshi is sitting on over 1 million of the early coins?

When CLTV comes live, Satoshi can make series of transactions such that for instance each week 1000 BTC is released for the next 1000 weeks / 20 years.

Then it will be visible to everyone that his 1M BTC (currently worth US$ 284 million) will be released gradually over the years.

The blockchain has recorded all of his coins since the beginning----none have been spent----some were sent to Hal Finney and another person but the 1.8 Million btc have not moved at all. Largest unsupported theory is that he burned them for the good of the project (he had spent 2 years of his life to bring bitcoin to life).

Anyone can help me sort this out, when im trying to sync my wallet i only get 1 connection going very slow, and i get a "WARNING: Checkpoint is too old. Wait for blockchain to download or notify developers." ?? what to do about that?
