He is still on the wanted list of both the Indian and Bangladeshi police departments, for his alleged involvement in many terrorist incidents. Well, that actually makes a lot of sense. Although some of the Muslims do not rejoice and are appalled, many do. And those that do not rejoice often engage in denial that it's muslims that do the attacks.

I can tell you that you are 100% right. When the 9/11 attacks occurred many of my Muslims friends couldn't hide their glee. They were saying that the Americans got the punishment for waging war against the Muslims. I asked them what did the innocent civilians did to the Muslims? It's not Islam, it's  should be the terrorism. There are good people on the Islam community buy the media make people perceived that Islam people are evil.

Islam is blamed for Islamist extremism and terrorism, because unlike the case with the other religions, there is no clear boundary between terrorist Muslims and the other Muslims.
