If you read the blog at all there are 2 other devs/ team members besides myself that are more than capable of deving vertcoin . There has been no sign of Poramin which we can do nothing about, and at this point we aren't holding our breath. We have updated to the latest Bitcoin core and are on track to release it sometime after the 15th , which could make us the first to activate segwit .
