Really nice to see p2pool up to 1.2 GH/s.
Currently up to 1.87 GH/s

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Anything to this coin now - apart from mining chatter?

Just going lower and lower on price without a plan in the bigger picture!

Whats the next big thing related to popular adoption and real use scenarios?

May seem harsh - but reading the thread is not providing me any confidence at all.
Maybe if you want people to tell you things, you should sound a bit nicer? Y'know...more friendly and less harsh. Just a thought...

Greetings and my Best Regards volyova

My comments don't expect anybody to tell me things really - unless there is really something significant to tell which maybe I have missed - and they feel inclined to debate?

My comments are designed to provoke thought

some call it constructive criticism.................

In most realms - its an acceptable position to have an opinion such as I have stated.

but thanks for your advice

This is the first coin I have mined and seeing its value drop by half lately is disappointing. I don't see anything wrong with asking about direction etc like usukan did though. That just shows he is interested in the coin and its future.

That is a good point that I didn't think about. The price is definitely up from when I started.

The guy who made the miner included my fix for later drivers in github, but never made a new Windows release. Fortunately, it doesn't require a recompile. Simply download this file: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/djm34/sgminer/master/kernel/bmw256.cl - and replace bmw256.cl in the kernel directory with it, then delete all files ending in .bin and try again............

this may be the answer to your problem, it helped me!

Thanks guys!

But actually I found the solution in a Russian forum.
For old 5x/6x cards need to use 14.12-omega drivers only.
Now hashing with 1.85MH per GPU.

thanks again!

It looks like you accidentally downloaded a webpage instead of plain text OpenCL.

ooops. yes you were right. I was trying to mine with my 6990 card. But i am still unsuccessful. I was trying to replace the original bmw256.cl but no luck. only HWs Sad
