That's nice, but to make any decent success from Alt Coin developed at GPU POW hardware level, you do need to hold at a minimum of 0.0001% of the Long Term Max Coin Supply.

THIS ADVICE IS FOR POORER INVESTORS.

E.G 84,000,000 LTMCS equates to minimum permanent position of 8,400.

Above, the minimum holding, you will have the better funded or more sophisticated investors, who take sizeable positions, but they're usually are financially wealthy and many ALT Coins are just a fun alternative to watching Television or throwing their money away in rigged betting games.

Below the minimum LTMC holding of 0.0001%, you'll have a mixture of newbies, people who don't know what they are doing and BTC traders (who do margin trading on ALTs, exploiting early stage POW Max Blocks Rewards to short sell ALTs).

Think about, read a few philosophy books, which explain the early fundamentals personal or public uses of economics.

Rattle the economics around your head for as long as you can manage and you be able to see the advice Grin

In case you've not realised: Vertcoin is an economic product and service.

Any news? Vertcoin needs something to activate moontime   Grin

Vertcoin since its launch had a good volume and hit good top price sometimes. Still now, Vertcoin is trading at good price. What kind of things you need to now to take it to moon?

To become the biggest GPU POW Market Cap Alt Coin, would require the complete elimination of any possibility of the Vertcoin Network having any ASIC mining hardware on it for the next 100 years Smiley

Should, anyone solve this problem, than the successful GPU POW coin, which has a Max Coin supply under 90 million can and should achieve prices of $10-$24 per coin.

However, as of yet, no-one has solved this question.

At the moment, all a development team could do too boost the price:

Is have a New GPU Algo plus Mining Software already produced for an emergency Hard Fork, for a few years down the road when ASIC Hardware may be produced for Lyra2REv2 algo.

But, to my knowledge, no development team has ever made an announcement of being prepared.

Therefore, let's accumulate for Block Halving as normal then Grin

i got into vertcoin this week with a gtx 1070, running about 39.5MH Smiley

felt it may be a better investment play than the RX480. both make similar returns now, but the ethereum difficulty has been rocketing and the currency has had its contract application usability brought into question

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

Ethereum is like a super fit model that wants to sleep with you, but you know they have herpes. Do you want to take a chance ? Ethers half ass hardfork has split into ETHC( ether classic-prefork) and ETH(post fork) and wow, now i'm seeing serveral others being traded (https://i.imgur.com/Tvt6F9a.jpg) .
