What is the current status of vertcoin? It has yet devs team? It does not look good onchart
Well we were at 4000 satoshi couple months ago so 12k satoshi right now ain't that bad right?
I'm willing to donate coins for development and maintenance, are here people that are willing to do that too?
Time to get this coin some attention again.

I've tried using the node list here http://thenodeslist.com/nodes/vertcoin.htm but can't find any active node connections.

I am running client 0.10.0.0 but it seems like its dead.  Just sits at 0 connections for more than 48 hours.  Not sure wtf.

Theres something wrong with your wallet because i have 8 connections and its running fine.
Try these:
addnode=106.187.39.18
addnode=194.97.156.59
addnode=5.44.97.110
addnode=108.170.26.210
addnode=92.222.108.232
addnode=104.131.230.130
addnode=76.176.30.162

Those work.  Thanks

Until adding those I couldn't get any connections with the wallet sitting open for more than 48 hours.

We need a new active node list because the one I posted in the link above has no active nodes and without adding nodes I couldn't get any connections.

I ran into another issue that I can't quite figure out.

I had an old wallet from October 10th, 2014 from when I used to mine VTC.

Somehow when I installed the new client, my old wallet.dat was overwritten which I've never had happen before with any coin and am not sure how that happened.

I did have a backup saved to restore it but can't quite figure out why or how the old wallet was replaced with a new file since I'd never removed my original from the directory.

Anyhow, something that has my mind boggled.

EDIT:  Prior to installing the latest 0.10.0.0 client, I'd downloaded the one from this ANN thread which is an older 0.8.7.3 version and I used the installer and I'm thinking somehow the installer removed my old files prior to me finding the 0.10.0.0 client.

IDK, only thing I can think of that may have happened.

Some dev needs to add those to the ANN or just update to those nodes when you download the wallet, because not everyone understand what nodes are.

Oh, the 0.8.7.3 was from the old ANN thread, not this one.  I'd forgotten to add that detail.  I had to read to the last page of the old ANN to find out that there was a new ANN thread here.  lol

Well lucky that you made a backup, does indeed sound kinda weird.
Quite risky for people that don't do backups.
